LOL Windows 7 endless rebooting and product keys on upgrading...
Like I've always said, unless you really know what you are doing and are willing to resolve potential issues, get a new computer. It's not worth the price or hassle to upgrade yourself. Over a decade an ppl still don't understand that there are thousands (and growing!) of possible combinations and configurations of PC's. And if you think MSFT or anyone else has tested every single one of these (or worked together on them) to ensure seemless upgrading before "release date", you wouldn't have learned anything from the past. If they DID do that, Windows would cost $5,000 per copy. Hint: Unless you are a reasonable pro at this or just like to hack things...let the engineers at Dell sell you their work. |
