Good luck with this. I hope it works. Maybe the biggest obstacle to alternative power systems is politics. Powerful interests oppose green energy. A look at the water boondoggle just passed in the California Legislature tells why. The legislation calls for 11 billion in bonds, not to build desalination plants with co-generation, but another canal and more dams instead.

Very interesting article. There is a major assumption that wind energy at higher altitude will be more substainable. Unforunately, our understanding of the boundary layer and it profiles could dispute some of these claims. The failure to understand the bounder layers and his mechanism will become am important concern as wind developer push to higher heights.

Skyvolts research certain disputes the claim of greater wind speeds at between 100 to 500 meters high. In fact, the boundary layer has a different signature depending upon a number of factors all over the world. The so call 1/7 law to forecasting wind energy based upon height is to simple of model for characterizing the boundary layer wind profiles. In fact often time fails, the wind speed may decline at those heights depending upon the region you are viewing.

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Taurus

Catch up with the chores today, especially if you've got a long list of them and you want to get through them all before Christmas. You're feeling nicely efficient without wanting to work yourself into the ground, so carry on at a steady pace. A few well-chosen words in a certain person's ear will be more effective than a lengthy conversation at other times.
