With each Quaterly results, Abbott Labs has laid off workers-both salaried and hourly. Some Abbott sites are no longer existing in CA. Q1 results by Miles and 300 Abbott Vascular employees were laid off the following day. I predict that the AV work force in CA will be downsized from over four thousand employees to less than 1200 employees with the only production being in Ireland, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.
