There are a hundred ways to be stupid for every way to be smart.. so stupidity always wins games of pure propaganda.. And that is all that 'public opinion' is based on. Who has the most 'appealing' conclusions. NOBODY wants to deal with AGW. Not even those that understand that they HAVE to. So most people go with the 'What? Me Worry' answer.

I think the term "ditto", referring to the religious followers of the RW propaganda pundits, to "echos". They repeat this stuff as if they know what they are repeating.

The Poison of Liberalism Old hardware had the truncated time/date routines because they were limited in memory. Newer hardware had worked around this because they had machines that were faster and had more internal memory. However, software also had similar problems. As it was updated there was no need to write these routines until we got close to the new millennium. Many of the records were stamped with this truncated information and to work with the expanded new four digit year stamp that was necessary, there needed to be a routine that added the missing two digits. For example, 01/01/99 needed to be expanded to 01/01/1999 before it could interface with the year 01/01/2000. If not, the calculated interval would have been 1901 years instead of just one year. Could you imagine the interest accrued over that time interval?

With all the cooling events that have simultaneously occurred, it is surprising that Earth is warm as it is. In this year, the Northwest went through 5.5 months of warming that even set record temperatures for day & early morning temperatures. Likewise, Australia had two summers of extreme & record temperatures, both day & early morning. Also, ocean temperatures have been the highest of recorded temperatures. Deniers are deniers......namely, nothing to have any major part to say in AGW proper science. So deniers, immensely enjoy your temporary solar minimum, & your low cycle of PDO & La Nina......your laughter shall end with the ending of these simultaneous, but geologically short-lived events. SO you are saying that, "2 year solar minimum, radiating energy at 2 parts per 1000 BELOW normal" and "simultaneous low cycle of the PDO & La Nina" have an effect on the earth? Wow then you follow up with "say that the 3 thousand thousand thousand thousand thousand KGs of man-made emissions of infra-red absorbing CO2 do NOT absorb CO2" TRANSLATION that less than 1/2 of a % of the total worlds atmosphere of " man-made emissions of infra-red absorbing CO2 do NOT absorb CO2" The "deniers" don't deny that man puts out less than 1/2 of 1/2 of a percentage of the earth's atmosphere. We just don't think it's effect is as great as the "model for grant money" crowd does. While I have asked, and will ask you as well, we in the states may have lowered our CO2. China has surpassed us and india is putting out as much as ever. How is it the any gain in sea ice is possible?

Your figures don't tell us much. 1/2 of 1/2 percent would be 2500 ppm. If there were only a mere 550 ppm of H2S in the atmosphere, you would be dead in less that five minutes. You see, the eluding that the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is too small to affect anything is meaningless until the actual mechanism is considered. Yours is an empty argument.

No, you seem to think the earths atmosphere has more that 1/2% of other gases that include CO2. So your big huge number in perspective of all the other gases is not alot overall. Your arguement that change is DRIVEN by mans output of CO2 is less than effective when sea ice grows back. You lament that I point out local patterns(in the US)((2nd largest output of CO2)) Only to have some others point to local increases in the southern hemisphere tempatures as an arguement against mine! You wouldn't say it but eluded to drift as to why the US has a reprieve of AGW!(yeah my argument is empty!) LOL It must be Gods blessing that we in the states get record low temps while the rest of the world suffers. My religous beliefs have nothing but faith supporting my opinion, and it looks like yours is the same! Give us the number of natural CO2 compared to how much man puts in. What % of the atmosphere is CO2? Tell us how long CO2(man made) stays in the atmosphere?

What % of the atmosphere is CO2? Tell us how long CO2(man made) stays in the atmosphere? I am sorry, but you say about the levels of gases in the atmosphere makes little sense to me. Further I think you are saying that global warming should be uniform throughout the world, and that since the US has cooled, that shows that global warming isn't happening. That does not make sense either. Weather patterns change from locality to locality and year to year. Since weather patterns can change several degrees and global warming is only a small fraction of a degree from year to year, local weather patterns can override the effects. The ratio of what is natural and what is man made CO2 being introduced to the atmosphere is meaningless. The natural carbon cycle is dynamically balanced and has been so for millions of years. When we burn fossil fuels we introduce "new" CO2 into the atmosphere from coal and oil that was sequestered in past eons of the earth's history. This increases the total amount of CO2 in the atmosphere today.

The Poison of Liberalism Sorry, I was there, I have friends who were there, missing the Y2K parties to make sure things ran right. And the cool thing was, it wasnt the government telling us, you must fix this, it was a buisness necessity. Of course you wont believe me, wouldnt expect you to, you have already made up your mind. And somehow, you have access to private information from the Clintons that they instigated it. I suppose then, they did a pretty good job to pull that off then, keeping it all secret and stuff. Now, back to the war on evil liberals: If your going to call the losers who dont work, on welfare, repeated abortions, and thieves, liberals, ok, fine. But I dont think they think about politics much though. I think they are just losers, somehow lost. But, Ill bet ther are a lot of conservatives out of work, collecting unemployment. Also, retired conservatives, collecting social security. So. that must make them now, liberals and socialists. Also, if you ever set foot in a national park, or a national forest, a library, a museum, guess what, your now a socialist liberal. And, if your healed by a liberal university trained doctor, with technology developed by the NIH, ummm, your now a victim of socialist liberalism. Poison I tell you, poison!
