'Mismanaged' FPL solar program killed
The Florida Public Service Commission voted unanimously this morning to immediately end Florida Power & Light's Sunshine Energy Program.

So, a company in Texas was contracted to do the job. It's beginning to smell like ENRON. You're telling me that FPL doesn't have capable staff already on the payroll that couldn't have administered the program? No wonder people look sideways at energy efficiency programs.

Sounds pretty shady to me.$350K a month and they can't say how much green energy they bought?
Almost 39,000 Floridians "donating" almost $10 a month, thinking they are doing something good for the environment, and the money is sucked up by a few fat cats who don't even live in Florida. If it isn't illegal, it should be. |
