As Gus above may remember during our stints here since the beginning of the Floyd Landis case back in 2006, I have a habit of serching all of the various cycling forums in order to attain any information that can help me in understand a situation better and in learning about various areas of a particular case.
The only real eveidence that I have ever found out was that the news media has been the only source in stating that Lance Armstrong had cheated and doped.
If one takes the time to really think here, the federal investigation interviewed all of the same riders/cyclists as USADA claims to have seen as wekk after the feds closed their investigation.
The first and only time that we really have seen and heard anything from someone else was when Tylar Hamilton spoke with 60 Minutes!
For many people it is quite hard to know what to believe from Floyd Landis considering all the screaming of innocence he provided us and also the large amount of money (over $500,000) that he had acquired from a lot of people for his defense fund.
What also makes the waters totally muddy is the fact that WADA, USADA, UCI, ASO and all the federations are not in tune with one anothter along with not working to riud doping from all of the sports besides that of cycling.
Example of this is when the Spanish police Operation Puerto took place and came out with the listing of athletes from cycling, footbll (soccor) and tennis who were shown to have suspicious cases of doping. Yet, only te cyclists were made publis, while the other athletes were kept quiet.
Granted that public opinion and the way this case has been handled from the start, it looks like Lance did cheat and in fact he may well have cheated. But, until the actual evidence is provided and shown in public, he by the standards in our country is, "Innocent Until Proven Guilt!"
And there is the problem where I see that USADA has totally screwed up and even the judge here in Texas voiced his concern about USADA's behavior.
The other and more serious problem that I see with USADA is that they really did not accomplish anything simply because they did not catch or find out who every individual involved in this doping case were, i.e. the drug suppliers, who in fact supposedly notified lance and or his cycling team staff when the drug control agents were coming to conduct the tests, etc.
And this has been the main problem and situation in almost every one of the doping cases where only the rider were caught and burned.

CHEAP WORDS Laurent and no matter what he has or has not done he did beat Cancer when the odds were way against him, so your words dont just resonate towards him they also do to those who have suffered, are suffering and suffering with others with Cancer.
He also used his fame, fortune and influence to raise $500 million to help others who are affected with Cancer which for anyone who has benefitted from his actions he shall be a Saint regardless of anything else.
What have all the other self serving Sporting Icons done with their fame and fortune? Nothing like this!
I dont condone anything he has done in Cycling if it is proven but I also cannot take others wish to live off him by trying to destroy him. Thats probably the CHEAPEST of all.
If I needed help from his foundation and got it do you honestly think I am concerned how he became famous? All the Kids he has helped have NO IDEA who he is or how he became famous they just know he cared enough to do something about it and helped them.
SO keep cheap shots out of it and ask yourself would you rather he had your back or some of the wannabes who would throw you under the bus as soon as money was waved at them.
Does anyone think the US Government will step in and put $500 Million in the pot and keep topping up like he has if he decides F*&k this Im out.
Sometimes its not the parts that matter but the sum of all the parts put together. he can be the biggest Jerk in the World as long as he keeps doing what he is doing.
WHO next to throw under the Bus - Ali? Jordan? Mayweather? Pele?
Oick a name and go and offer endorsements for a story and you will ALWAYS get one.

The US government only helps the auotmolbile industry and the banks, but they don't help the people as that is unthinkable.
Actually there are many professional athletes who have taken their own money and stared programs for the youths of their various nations. In boxing the PAC'MAN helps a lot of his own people there in the Philippines and also many people there in Los Angeles where he has a home as well.
You bring is some very good points here GeeMan. When I served in the Army, we had a saying that has stayed with me! "You can have 10 atta boys and just 1 ah shit will remove all of them!"
People are just too too quick to jump on board and judge other people. I wish all of them would have a chance in being put into similar situations, so that they can have those same pleasures of being stripped naked by the public and see how it really feels.
