She was lucky, the judges were lenient, she should have not even medalled. They took some time to figure that one out.

Yes agreed. I was shocked she still got gold even after falling on her ass. She should have got bronze or even worse. There was likely an American judge in there.

You don't want to be totally like her. She had the gold in the bag and instead of just making sure she landed on her feet for the gold, she tried to show up the rest of the field. Looks good on her especially after she said she would run away with the competition. Another choke job for the Americans!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. I guess this gymnast who wants to emulate Maroney didn't see her poor sportsmanship after she lost. She should have been off the podium.

Hard to take someone serious who can't even spell. They didn't choke you moron. They got robbed by an incompetent Norwegian referee who must either be part American or, was paid by the American team or has never refereed a game before.

Here is the difference between Maroney and the Canadian soccer team. She simply choked while the soccer team lost because of a ridiculous call that you never see. If you have nothing intelligent to say, shut the f&^k up. I guess I won't be hearing back from you!!!!!

I was actually, just kidding with you...it was probably the best soccer match, i have seen in years.....and the canadian girl that scored the hat trick is tremendous....i only hope we can beat the japanese, thursday.....usually i find ref calls are usually pretty even, overall...

Didn't sound like you were kidding. And by the way, if you know anything at all about soccer, that was probably one of the most poorly refereed games ever and almost entirely in the favour of the US. I played soccer for over 20 years and sometimes in goal. They never call that where the goalie hangs onto the ball for more than 6 seconds. The questionable penalty kick would never have happened if it weren't for the first bad call. That was a great game by both sides and unfortunately the ref had a huge hand in the final outcome. And yes Sinclair who scored the hat trick for Canada is a wonderful player and great role model which is much more than I can say for the stuck up bitch in net for the Americans. Unfortunately Hope can't keep her mouth shut even after the stupid comments she made after the 2007 World Cup where she criticized her own teammate. And they are a very dirty team as well as they got away with a lot of fouls.

No I just can't stand incompetence and stupidity which you seem to exude quite evidently on here.

Yeah just like the women's gold medal game in the 2002 winter Olympics. Do you remember that? American referee called 12 or 13 straight penalties against Canada and we still won. And the best thing was when Haley Wickenheiser for Canada wanted to know if the American players wanted to sign the Canada flag after they were stepping on it in the dressing room??????? F*&^ing bitches got what they deserved!!!!!!!!
