Should Gays Adopt ?

No, shame on YOU if you are with the same sex. I can assure you...that God DOES HATE homosexuality. He destroyed two whole cities for this abomination.

Deuteronomy 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

Deuteronomy 16:22 Neither shalt thou set thee up [any] image; which the LORD thy God hateth.

These are just two of MANY verses from God's Word that I can show you that clearly show that God DOES HATE. There is a whole section in the book of Romans where Paul is talking about how ungodly it is for like sexes to be together....

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

It is VERY clear from these verses that what you do is VERY WRONG. But, if you don't believe the Bible you won't believe it anyway.

Please do not hate what you do not understand. I love my partner and we share a beautiful son together and we are more "normal" than most "stright" families. My son is blessed to have two loving parents and a stable, loving home.

Oh yeah...I get it. I will NEVER be tolerant of sin against God. Especially this abomination that you are wallering in. God didn't "create" this sickness. He HATES homosexuality. I don't WANT to understand it...it is WRONG! Rest assured...I won't be sticking my head in the sand...and will be speaking out about this sin until the Lord comes back. You ARE right about one thing....it isn't wrong because I don't agree with it...it is wrong because GOD says that it is. Sounds like you might want to get your head OUT of the sand.

I don't know what god you believe in....but THE GOD that I serve don't think the way you are thinking. You say I twist scriptures huh?? LOL Here's you some scripture....

Please tell me how many other ways you can explain these verses. Sounds to me like Paul says that being with same sexes is pretty bad. Notice the words "VILE AFFECTIONS" and "AGAINST NATURE" and "that which is UNSEEMLY". This does not sound like something good to me. Please give me YOUR interpretation of this. Show me how you can make something good out of this.

Your "son" may be loved...but his life is being ruined by you and your "partner" because he will grow up being taught that this abomination is ok in the sight of God. You and your "partner" WILL answer to God for this one day. Mark my word.

For the record....last time I checked...this was a public forum where we can All participate and I have just as much right to come on here and tell the TRUTH as you do to try to come on here and try to make this sin look ok. Have a good 'un.

Wow.... how does it feel to walk this earth with so much hate and ignorance on your shoulders? I am sure God is not very pleased with you right now. For those who have not sinned may throw the first stone... this forum IS for everyone, so let yor ignorance pore out!! May God have mercy on YOUR soul my friend!(You need it).

It feels GREAT to love God and HATE sin. Keep in mind now.....I don't hate the people DOING the sin....just the sin they do. Please don't put words in my mouth. Don't worry....God is VERY pleased with me when He knows that I am standing against abominable sins such as what you are in.

No...I'm not the loser. If you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior...then you WON'T see me in Heaven and YOU will be the one that is the loser and you will be thinking about this very conversation while you are spending eternity in Hell. Just because they're gay doesn't mean they lack the ability to raise children. Times are changing, you can either fight the change and live in the past, or deal with it.
Let people do what they want, for pete's sakes. NOT letting them adopt would be procrastination.

It says in the bible that you shall not LIE with another man, or something like that. It doesn't say you cannot LOVE another man. So the real sin is gay sex, not loving someone of the opposite gender. REMEMBER THIS.
And answer me this:
If God hates homosexuality so much, then why did he give us free will? I know, I know, Adam and Eve ate from the Tree Of Life, but the question is:
Why did God make the Tree Of Life in the first place, if he knew Adam and Eve were gonna eat from it?
I wonder this question myself.

If you had read my post a little more closely...you would have seen that I never said that they lacked the ability to raise the children. I said that they are raising the children to think that being with the same sex is ok in God's sight...when in reality...GOD HATES IT. IT IS SIN. I'm not arguing whether or not they would love them or how good they could raise them...the fact is....HOMOSEXUALITY IS SIN AND IS WRONG AND IS AN ABOMINATION IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.

First off...it was not the Tree of Life. It was the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

It was put there as a test to Adam. All through the Bible, God gave people tests and trials to see how they would react and most of the time man would fail....just as Adam did...and then there was a judgment. For example, God told Adam and Eve that everything in the garden was good to eat except for that particular tree and they were tried, they failed and were judged.(As in kicked out of the Garden of Eden.)

This is just like us today. God gives us the test to see if we will accept His Son and the gift of love that He gave on the cross of Calvary. We have the "free will" to either accept it or not. If we do not...then we are judged. As in ultimately cast into the Lake of Fire on day. Yes we have the free will to be gay or not be gay. A person who is NOT saved could choose to BE gay and not see the wrong in it and think it is ok in the sight of God. A person who CHOOSES to BE saved....would see, from God's Word, that being gay is an abomination in the sight of God and would NEVER do this.

Bottom line is....homosexuality is WRONG and is SIN and God hates it.

I'd like for you to show me that verse that talks about "lying" with another man. I do not argue the fact that you can LOVE another person of the same sex. We are to love EVERYONE. But, it is SIN to be in a love relationship or to be married to or having sexual relations with the same sex. Let me give you some scripture and then you tell me what you think.

After reading this...can you HONESTLY tell me that God is "ok" with homosexuality?? I'd also encourage you to read Genesis 19 and read the whole chapter...pay CLOSE attention to verse 24 and also tell me if it sounds like God is ok with like sexes to be together. I will anxiously be awaiting your take on all this.

Bible Believer did not say God hated homosexual he said He hated homosexuality. Hat the sin not the sinner. I do NOT think gays should adopt. I also do not think they should be allowed to teach the grade schoolr high school level.

Yes I'm sure there are gay people all around me. Trust me....you DO need my prayers....because if you have never admitted that you are a sinner to God(this includes homosexuality) and accepted what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary....then you are NOT saved and you and all the other "queers" will split Hell wide open. So, no, my dear you are NOT going to Heaven unless you are saved by God's grace. Sin could NEVER enter Heaven...and being gay IS A SIN. Better get on the winning side before it's too late.

For the record...I never said I was better than you. As a matter of fact...I'm a sinner just like you. The difference between you and me is that I have been saved by the grace of God and I admitted that I was a sinner(which you have not) and God forgave me of my sins. I'm far from perfect....but I accepted Jesus in to my life and He IS perfect. I do NOT hate gay people either. I hate the sin that they do and so does God. If you continue in this sin...it is YOU than better hope that somehow God has mercy on YOUR soul....but I wouldn't count on it if you are not willing to ask for it.

I am the parent of two wonderful children. Their father made the choice to get married in the army yrs before we met. Thier mother died two yrs ago and we recieved full custody of them. So what do you say to that?? I just wonder if you would have them sent to a foster home instead.
