Nope. You'll notice who is refusing to lift the ban on drilling right now. Nancy Pelosi is so determined to keep gas prices high that she called a vacation after refusing to vote on it. This is fully the responsibility of the Democrats.

Gotta tell you I am not really sure how Mz. Pelosi ever got to be speaker of the house, I find her to be a joke.
Having said that I don't really think it was that simple. I heard that the repubs wanted the bill as was with no compromise and that the dems wanted to. The Pres can always make the3m return and vote on the bill. I don't think it was an unscheduled vacation. Correct me if I am wrong as I heard all this on CNN and as you know they are not always correct. I am not happy with all of our dems in congress any more than the repubs. I do however think that Claire is doing a great job. I do see a Tim at the dog park everyday.

I was just joking. This Tim is older than John McCain, I mean he is real old. I don't even think he has a computer.

I hear McCain wiped the floor up with Obama at their first debate, and the Dems are accusing him of cheating. Sounds like desperation to me.

I have a big problem with old people thinking they can still drive when they clearly can't. John McCain is clearly too old to be President.

And Obama isn't experienced enough. I would take age over inexperience any day.

McCain and Obama didn't have a debate . It was a Q&A sit down with some Bible bumper . And McCain had the questions ahead of time . No wonder he did well. If they ever have a REAL debate it will be abundantly obvious who should be president , and who is the guy that graduated last in his class...

In order to win a debate, you have to be able to make a point without reading from a teleprompter. It has become very apparent that Obama doesn't have that ability. By the way, Obama dropped in the polls again today. Could it have been the "Town Hall" meeting McCain just beat him at?

It's obvious that you have never seen McCain give a "speech" look left -read from Teleprompter look right , read from Teleprompter, look forward read from Teleprompter - and don't forget the awkward laugh to cue the crowd when to clap. So awkward and painful looking and I feel sorry for the old wrinkley dude.

Not sorry enough to vote for him though . This election is too important to put another empty suit , company man like McCain in office .
