“To accomplish that, we allowed a public service agency, the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corp., to come into being as a public trust in order to operate the plant. Operating the plant was its only responsibility and business activity.”

That is simply not true or incomplete, the VY nuclear power corp was solely set up to serve their higher corporate masters such as CVPS and GMP and all the other partners. VY corp never served a public trust...always their fiduciary responsibility was to serve CVPS and GMP and the rest., and their profits.

You know, it is like your children, your teenager starts getting into trouble, you just can’t sell him to somebody else. The partners who made up the VY nuclear power corps set southern Vermont down this course, so didn’t the state of Vermont. They made this child...it was solely their choice to sell their assets to Entergy. This still is the problems of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Corp parners.

In other words, can’t you see it, why villainize Entergy over Enexus. They didn’t think up the game first. It was the state and the VY nuclear power corp partners who “took the money and ran”, they ran away from the responsibilities of protecting the peoples of the region when they sold that plant!

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Scorpio

A loved one is very assertive under the Full Moon tonight. You'll only make it worse if you come down like a ton of bricks, given that Mars is retrograde and it's a lunar eclipse tonight. Besides, do you really want to spoil this evening's celebrations because you've had a flaming row? If possible, live and let live, so you can have a really happy New Year!
