The American people know it. And by the time we're through with you today, Senator Schumer, everybody is going to have heard what you said about all of this. Big Oil should pay for the gas tax holiday? He also said something else, and you heard him.. He said it would be ten years before a drop of oil came from ANWR. Senator Schumer, who first vetoed ANWR? It was Bill Clinton.

Had we been drilling in ANWR when it was first proposed back in 1994, guess what? We'd be 14 years into it, and we would have that supply. Every little bit counts. Every little bit hurts. It certainly would not pose a problem by drilling in ANWR. You know the old story The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? The Four Horsemen of the Energy Apocalypse, I'm going to tell you who they are: Bill Clinton. He vetoed ANWR, and he did everything he could as the leader of the Democrat Party to prevent any new exploration, discovery, and drilling of oil within the continental United States or Alaska. Mario Cuomo is the second of The Four Horsemen of the Energy Apocalypse. He shut down the nuclear plant in New York State. Just a total waste of money. It was ready to go online, he shut it down. The third member of The Four Horsemen of the Energy Apocalypse is Jane Fonda. The movie The China Syndrome is the single reason we don't have nuclear power, because of a scare tactic movie about a meltdown at a nuclear plant, that's why we don't have nuclear power here. The fourth member of The Four Horsemen of the Energy Apocalypse is up for grabs. You could throw John Muir in there, founded the Sierra Club, but I rather put Algore in there.

How much longer are we to put up with the likes of the Democrats party?

We can start now by voting all of them out of our lives and putting people there that will respect our wishes.

Warner is one of the reasons why conservaitives are so disillusioned with the "New" Republican Party. I hope that the door does not hit him in butt when he leaves Washington and that we can elect a real conservative to take his place. And God help us if smiley Warner gets elected. We will be worst that that gutless Marine reject that is in Washington.

Of course, it is easy to sense a great deal of anger and fustration in D**P of HCS' comments. Despite the Cheney Administration's all out war on science, the American people now want immediate to reduce the effects of climate change. Because of your obvious anger, I do not have to remind you that the crusade is unwinnable.

Global warming is nothing but politics and not science and will be viewed by history as being to Liberals, what WMD's were to Republicans. Both are lies and myths propagated by money and the corporate media that libersl love.

Why has the left become so obedient, loyal and conformist?

Hey Uncle Tom, I mean Leo, the American people really don't care about global warming because most can sense it is a SCAM! So we cut emissions by some tiny amount. China and India will quadruple in the next 10 years.

Science by sense. As long as some people can "sense" manmade global warming is wrong I guess scientists are just wasting their time even bothering to look in on it.

And just because any single country cannot reduce global emissions doesn't make it evidence of a scam.

How about passing a balanced budget amendment?? Now THAT would be a "crowning legislative achievement."

You look very silly, Senator Warner.

You are the a great example of why our elected representatives are held in such low esteem.

Go away and live on your wives' money and your government pensions.

we should first determine the cause of global warming. Scientists who say it's cyclic aren't given a chance to present their viewpoint by the media who accept Al Gore as an authority. Yet Gore is afraid to debate the issue fair and square.

Because there is no money in it for "OWL" Gore to debate anything. He only makes money if we "buy" into his line of BS.

Al Gore is the idiot son of the Democrat party that they have to support rather than looking like idiots themselves. Well it is not working.

You Know I wish just once that some of these opinions were from someone with 1 ounce of intelligence. There is no room for discussion on these issues just your overwhelming stupidity. I wish Sen. Warner success in his small efforts to save our planet. Remember most of you do have children or grandchildren (my Lord they procreated)wouldnt you like to leave them a world they could live in? No all you all care about is PROFITS and more POWER.OH well maybe all of you are part of Gods plan that we dont understand yet.I do pray he has a use for you all in His great plan otherwise your just a waste of humanity.

GOVERNMENT IDIOT OF THE DAY

There's a newly elected California Congresswoman by the name of Laura Richardson. She's a Democrat. There are now reports that this fine new government bureaucrat has walked away from her home mortgage of $535,000. Less than two years after buying the house with not one penny down, she just let it slip into foreclosure and wiped her hands clean.
In January of 2007, Richardson took out a mortgage on her Sacramento home for $535,000, the sale price of the house. Not only did she borrow the entire purchase prices, but she somehow talked the person selling the home into giving her an additional $15,000 to cover some of the closing costs.
So .. what does the lovely Ms. Richardson do after she wins a special election to Congress? She walks away from her home and the mortgage. At that point she owes Washington Mutual around $600,000. It seems she hadn't been making payments. So .. she just walks.
Now Laura Richardson is a member – a Democrat member – of the U.S. House of Representatives. It is said that we get the type of government we deserve ... right? What have we done to deserve Laura Richardson?

I agree.

We should tell Johnny that if he wants a post office named after him, the answer is NO!!

If he insists, we should give him Achilles or Adner -- something very small.
