Right... I hate it when that happens. You know, how guns just jump up and go around shooting people without someone using it. That's why I keep all mine locked in a safe so they can't get out on their own and kill people. Blame the inanimate objects. While we are at it, let's also ban swimming pools (drowning), cars (accidents), knives (cuts), food (choking), stairs/ladders (falls), and electricity (electrocution).

I don't know about locking the guns up theory...

I don't have any locks on any of mine, they're all loaded and available for immediate use. And not a single one of them has gone off and killed anyone. They're all sitting there, right where I left them. I do wish they'd move around a little on their own though, maybe help with some house-hold chores, take out the trash or something.

I guess all of mine are just lazy guns...

Major Hasan commited an act of terrorism upon his fellow soldiers at Ft. Hood, largely due to his religious beliefs. It may have been an individual act. It may have not been prompted by direction from Al Qaida, but it was terrorism none the less. I am quite pleased, at long last, to see a number of Muslim groups denounce the acts of this man, and make it clear that they deplore such actions. Those kinds of statements should be more frequent, and more directed at the world wide attacks of terrorism which have going on for over a decade now. I belive that most Muslims in this country are patriots, and devoted to the country which shelters them. But they need to make more noise about their detestation of terror attacks on innocent people around the world enacted in the name of their religion.

Ya, I saw a gun walking down the street the other day, he was menacing people! It is an inanimate object, it is a tool.
