Also everyone here finds it truly hard to believe that you write children's books because you have constantly misspelled, used improper grammar, failed to punctuate, etc...seems someone so vested in literature would be a tad more proficient in what they write.
As for the film remarks anyone and everyone knows that big budget films are eye-candy. In comparison if "The Wizard of Oz" was made today the exact same way it was made then it would be a flop and not a time honored classic. Matter of fact there are indies made today with bigger budgets than "Oz."
I'd watch Manos just to say I've seen it.
Your watch it to learn from their mistakes is massively stupid. That is similar to stating that an NBA player should watch 3rd graders play in order to learn from their mistakes.
However what you really should've pointed out was that maybe they used some technique or were able to pull off some action/effect/scene without having a larger budget. Now that makes complete sense.
Finally if the film was enjoyable then it wasn't bad to you.
