Remember Jennifer gratz She applied for admission to the University of Michigan, was rejected, and sued the school in 1997. Paired with a similar case against the University of Michigan Law School, her case made its way to the Supreme Court in 2003.
She sued because 85 minorities with lower scores thAn hers wes admitted but 1200 white students with lower scores than hers was admitted to but they had to make a big deal about the race of 85 students than the 1200
