So, go down to the courthouse and change your names. If you don't like your name, it's a simple matter to change it.

Where are the apologies to all the white people that have been murdered here in America at the hands of black people? FAR more whites have been killed and had wrongs done to them by blacks than the other way around.

And what about Afica? They are killing whites left and right over there!

No Dolores, you don't seem to get it. Stop making excuses for blacks that refuse to get an education and make a productive life for themselves. You need to concentrate more on the black community and black people in general who blame whitey for all the problems in the black community. The truth is that blacks have squandered opportunity after opportunity to improve their own lives because their too busy trying to be black instead of trying to be productive citizens. A large percentage of blacks still want to separate themselves from whites to the point that a black person who is successful is a black person who is a sellout to white dominated society.

It's time to stop feeling sorry for yourselves.

white ppl should stop acting like they know what they're talking about when it comes to "the blk community" a succesful blk person is not considered a sellout for being successful. and stop trying to tell "the blk community" what they need to do

Yes, pick any old name. At least you'll have an African name--right! Stop your bellyaching. Or is the truth that you like your white slave name because it gives you an excuse to hate and complain.

Face it--You're another excuse maker.

You decide. After all, you're the one bellyaching about your slave name. If you think it's so important that your name identifies with Africa then you do the research and file the appropriate papers in court and change it. Otherwise, stop your bellyaching.

On more thing--Slavery is not confined to Africans. Every race has suffered from slavery. For all I know my ancestors were enslaved. So get over it and stop making excuses to resent and hate.

Go to the African-American forum and you'll see it for yourself. You may not think you're a sellout because you straightened your hair, but no doubt many in the black community don't like to see straight hair and see it as a black person trying to be white. Same thing goes for taking proper English. To many blacks, a black person who speaks proper English is trying to sound white.

No, it's more like you're looking for a reason to wast time complaining and resenting whites. I didn't miss anything.
