I wish that everyone knew J.C. Haynes and what a compassionate and caring person he is. i have yet to meet anyone that a bad thing to say about J.C. He is a devoted father, husband, brother, and friend.
I encourage anyone that knows Tim to write his judge and let TBI know that JC is an honest and hardworking man that doesnt deserve to die in a jail cell over a plant.

Just because the man grew some weed it doesn't necessarily make him dishonest. It means only that he was growing weed.

GOD DID PUT IT HERE TO BE USED. I DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL. BUT DO NOT THINK PEOPLE SHOULD GO TO JAIL OVER IT .I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND PEOPLE GOING TO JAIL FOR USING A PLANT PUT ON THIS EARTH BY GOD TO BE USED. WHAT WILL JUDGES,POLICE OFFICERS ,CHURCH NUTS, AND EVRYBODY ELSE WHO PUT PEOPLE IN PRISON OVER A PLANT SAY TO GOD ON JUDGEMENT DAY. WELL THEY WILL PROBABLY TRY TO PUT GOD IN JAIL FOR INTRODUCING IT TO THE WORLD ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER PLANTS PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE.

Honesty comes from the heart and spirit. How can you speak about someone of whom you have no knowledge?
Would you still laugh if Medical Marijuana had helped your loved one through chemotherapy, or helped a cousin, dying from breast cancer, have a few restful hours of sleep, or helped a friend with bladder cancer receiving radiation regain some appetite?
Your ignorance and intolerance is not Christian or compassionate.
I pray your family never has to go through any of this.

I'm not religious or a user of the plant in question but I agree completely. You bring a good point..God is the biggest supplier of illegal drugs since he made all the components and plants from which they are made. Boooo how could such a reportedly great and wise being do such a horrible thing, and how could his followers dismiss such jail worthy offense.

As for the man who was arrested, I don't think that just selling drugs because it's against the law makes you dishonest, at least no more so than a J-walker or a person who got a ticket for speeding - both of which are against the law too.

I don't know what you said but by the Ha Ha you think it's funny. Well my man I'm sure you have done worse things than grow some pot. People with your stature feel that they are above the law because they have some type of badge. I sure that some of your buddy's have been involved with something bigger than some pot so don't laugh, the only reason your laughing is because he got caught. Think about that for a minute! Every one knows someone that has broke the law in their life time. Your just laughing cause it was someone you don't care about or know. If it was your brother, uncle, father, friend, or grandfather you would not be saying HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. You would want to find out what you could do to make the sentence as little as possible. So put your self in someone else's shoes and you wouldn't have that smirk on your face. I hope you find some type of understanding for others. Are you happy? The reason I ask is because people that are not happy with there life find fault in other peoples life to make them selves feel better about there life. I hope you find happiness in your life one day.

You right Jim Jones I'm like you I don't like marijuana either, but just think about it. Alcohol kills people everyday, either liver disease or someone being drunk and having a wreck either killing themselves or an innocent person, a mother, a father, a loved one of someone that wasn't doing anything wrong or even been drinking themselves. If anything alcohol should be illegal. Have you ever hear of anyone dying after smoking marijuana? Well I haven't. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It is also used for medical purposes to, have you ever heard of alcohol being good for anyone or used for medical purposes? And what about the doctors prescribing all those pills, some people may need them but look at all the wrecks that have been caused from taking certain ones and all the people that have Overdosed on them! But there again look at marijuana, no one has ever overdosed on marijuana. I really think people need to think more like us even if we don't like it ourselves, doesn't mean that it is the worst thing in the world that people could possibly do. Look at the meth problem we have here in our county. It is ridiculous, people go crazy on that drug! And people are just dangerous to be around, you never know when they going to just go off!! Kill people, stab people, rape people, and you would be surprised how many people have been held hostage by someone that is tripping out!!!! It is sad that they don't worry about getting the meth off the street instead of worrying about a plant that GOD put on our earth.

Im like the rest. I feel weed was put here for a reason. In some states it is legal. I completely agree with it being used to help someone. However, if the person is growning it and selling it to junkies that is a different story. In this case I do not know this person or what he was doing. But it sound like he was growing alot more than he could smoke. And I for one do think that has to stop. Im not saying he is selling it to kids. I habe no idea. But kids get it from someone.

If they legalized it, they could tax it like they do cigarettes and make bocos of money. It would also help on the overcrowded prisons. It doesn't even cause cancer like cigarettes.

I cant understand why alcohol is legal anyway. U drink, u drive, and kill somebody on the road, if ur drunk. Have u heard of anybody smoking pot and get into a car and have an accident? No. They drive too slow for 1. I actually heard some people say they drive better high. They legalize pot, there wont be alot of people smoking it cuz its no fun anymore. As for the God comments I read, crack, cocaine, and meth all had to be made BY MEN. God had nothing to do with that, thats what man has done, getting the ingredients that was supposed to be used to help u that is legal, they take it and make crack, cocaine, and meth to make illegal. Pot is useful for upset stomach, if ur sick and cant eat, pot will help to make u eat and make meds u r taking work better, some may not agree, but its my opinion. Its just a plant that grows anywhere, cops need to be watching crackheads, methheads, and cocaineheads, leave the potheads alone they dont do anything but lay around and have munchies. the other "heads" more less do the crimes around.

This movie supports what you all have been saying. It is very enlightening, provides proof that marijuana is not addictive, has never caused an overdose, and that the reason it is still illegal is b/c both org. like the DEA and drug lords make much more money off of it now then if it was legalized.

A hundred years from now people will look back on this time in our history and ask themself what in the world were the people thinking, to allow their people to be put in prisons over a wild plant that grows naturally anywhere it takes root. A total waste of time and money, not to mention the waste of lives. Thats all I got to say about that!

Seventy years of marihuana prohibition, billions of dollars wasted, millions of Americans arrested... and no one is any safer, anywhere in this country. The laws against pot are historically an off-shoot of the Jim Crow laws against racial minorities, which you can discover if you bother to do some historical research ["Reefer madness" originated in the Hearst newspapers, before W.W.I targeting "Sikh" (actually Hindu) farmers in california; later in the '20's and '30's stigmatizing the herb as being favored by Mexicans and African-Americans.] As Colleen Bonniwell once said, "The man-made law that outlaws marijuana does not have the force of the Creation behind it, only the creation of force." American may sacrifice all its civil liberties and historical freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights, and we still won't be "drug free"---just un-free.
