We allowed the school system to take Christ out of our schools so now I guess we are gonna let satan come in. As if we dont have enough problems now.

If my child gets an obviously gay teacher (girly-man) I will be asking he be put in a different classroom. It goes against everything I believe in and I will not have anyone teaching my child how to be gay or that it is okay to be gay. If that makes me discriminating, so be it.

I have already had a teacher tell my child that 50% of people are born gay. what a cr@ck! There is NO evidence supporting this so called theory and should have never been taught in the classroom as fact.

Err, I don't think you can teach people to be gay. I mean no one goes around teaching people how to be straight....you either or you aren't. Besides if a teacher makes your kid turn gay then I think you might have to take a look at what the heck you did to your kid.

I still think this story is bogus...

The State needs to get to know GOD and they would know better than to pass that law. How can our government and systems be revolved around IN GOD WE TRUST but we don't follow his commandments. That should be a no brainer for the State.

Kids do though pick up on what they see and if a child does not have a stable home life then there you go, they can pick up on something like that and think its ok when it really not. A teacher is a person our children see several hours a day everyday of the week. That's not who I would want teaching my child. It's not GOD's way.

No, they don't 'teach' people to be gay, but they are setting an example I don't want set for my kids.

Good for you, I say no way. It is such a blessing to hear someone that comments about GODS WAY. Usually its from the "worlds way". God will bring judgement down on these people who choose to live their lives for themselves instead of for the Maker or us all. Gay people are NOT born this way. They are TAUGHT this life style. I agree I would not have my child thrown in this sinful sisuation. I would be among the first to be at our school county office.

You are certainly judgmental are you not? Man, it's funny to me how self appointed religious people can go from zero to judgmental in about a nanosecond. Whatever happened to "Judge not, lest ye be judged"? Not to mention the fact that believing people "learn" to be gay is laughable. Seriously, do you think a "straight" person would be willing to learn how to do the things they do?

If you are so overly concerned about who teaches your child, put them in a private school or religious academy. I think teaching your children to hate is much worse than a gay teaching your child in the classroom.

I do NOT believe this story in the first place. More than likely somebodies way to get something just like this started.... my my, it surely did work didn't it? ;)

Now, go ahead and smite me for my obviously satanical views! ;)

And if you do that, you'll then be accused of all manner of politically incorrect posturing. They may even bring some sort of charge against you and accuse you of being an unfit parents.

I don't care if it is not politically correct. Being politically incorrect is not illegal. Just because I don't want a gay person teaching my children does not make me an unfit parent.

Sounds like you want your kid to grow up being a nancy boy, trying to run every aspect of his life, cause thats exactly what you'll end up with by your controlling ignorant ways.

Deciding who will teach my children is not 'running every aspect of his life'. I call it making sure my child is getting a good education without bad influences. At certain ages, children need to be controlled. Otherwise they get caught having sex with teachers or worse. When they are old enough and mature enough then they can make their own decisions.

Well then can you provide an explantion for the children who grow up in conservative homes with "Christian Values" end up becoming homosexuals? I mean if your kid decides to be gay there really isn't much you or the teacher can do about it. Besides GOD's way is love, last time I checked.

You're supposed to hate the sin not the sinner.
