Gov. Haslam became a traitor to his own words and the conservative roots in Knoxville, as mayor, when he appointed Madeline Rogero to his cabinet. She was a community organizer here and in 1970's worked with Ceasar Chavez. Can anyone say " Barak Obama"
Ms Rogero latest credit is to sign a resolution forbidding any discriminatory behavior toward gay & lesbians-don't we, as Americans, have all the same rights regardless of gender or race? She seems to be doing what she can to make Knoxville a " gay friendly" city, making the gay pride parade a big draw for our city and state.
How many more politicians/ legislators are we going to allow to change our state, made up of decent people with morally sound Christian values; to a city that looks like San Franciso and with increasing numbers of the so-called "peace loving" Muslims, wake up to the news of a tradegy which occurred at Ft Hood in Killeen Tx.
Govenor Haslam, sir, you are not keeping true to your words or principles of the conservative beliefs.
