These stickers of the "thin blue line" are not to be taken lightly..This does represent law enfocement and or family members of cops, more importantly its for fallen officers.Hints the black stripe with blue line in the middle over badges of cops to honor a fallen cop. To top it off its also a sign of someone possibly being armed and to warn the cop of this, perhaps raise his or her alert status but perhaps put him or her at ease also knowing this person is more than likely trust worthy considering they are a cop and or family member of one. The sticker was originally designed to signify the person in the car was a cop or was armed, and if a little law enforcement support gets you out of a ticket so be it, not all cops are out to write tickets, sometimes just stopping the person and slowing them down works too.
It was also designed to represent someone being armed like i stated before but thats usually been over looked, and known as the "cop" sticker. |
