Send the fat bastards to a fat camp. And stop feeding them whoppers.I watched a 10-11 year old kid eat 2 double whoppers, large fries and a bucket of soda. The little fat bastard was 250-275 lbs.I wonder why.

What about all those infants and kids who have to endure their parents smoking at home and in their vehicles? They subject their kids to asthma, middle ear infections, sinusitis, and more. That is child abuse.

What about all those infants and kids who have to endure their parents being borderline illiterate, at home and in their vehicles. Like you, they subject their kids to a life of doom, and more, due to their stupidity. That is child abuse.

My nephew is 56 lbs, and just turned 3 in July. He is a FAT tank. Both Mom and Dad overeat and smoke. Exercise? Consists of waddling to the mailbox once a month for the welfare and disability checks. Plenty of money for cigs and cheap, fattening snacks, noone knows anything about healthy foods there. They think french fries are a vegetable. It's sad. The kid can't run, can barely climb the steps to go to bed, and wears a 8-10 for clothes. It's pitiful. If the state would let me, I'd take the kid, and get him healthy. Sensible diet, moderate exercise and love him enough to say no when he wants a snack just because he's bored.

Can we also take this in the opposite direction? How about the parents who force their children to lead a veggi life style? Should we not call keeping your children away from meat child abuse? The point of all this is simple. I will raise my child the way I want, you raise yours how you want; but don't tell me I am wrong and you are right. The government needs to stay out of our lives, out of our homes, out of our wallets.

I hear you loud and clear! I feel bad. Dag gone it, he must be rollin' around for him to be that big so fast. Just tell him straight up, yo your overweight and it is not healthy, tell him that you can die from it. He needs to hear the truth. So, just say it! It isn't that hard. I know you love him, but if you really love him, you would save his life and stop his destructive behavior. Show him what's bad and what's good before he goes home. Have patience and he will come around. Just show him the facts...

Soccerchick, I would in a minute if I could. He's only 3, and doesn't understand. I don't see him too much because my brother and I are pretty much estranged. I get him presents for Easter, and Xmas and his Bday, but don't really see him. I wish I could help, but like I hinted, both parents are too stupid to be breeding, much less together, and wouldn't listen anyway. I would love to help save this little guy's life.

I have an idea, why doesn't the entire country start minding thier own eff-in business. This whole damn country has become a bunch of eff-in voyeurs.

No, you don't get to talk about obesity runningup your insurance costs. Insurance costs what it costs.

Shut up and mind your own business.(not directed at anyone in particular.)

I agree with Bill and robo0425. People need to let others live how they want to live. However, the obesity epidemic is not going to even tap the brakes if we keep pandering to these people. When I sit in a booth at a restaurant, I have to scoot my butt all the way to the edge of the seat just because some fat guy might want to sit there. If you choose an unhealthy lifestyle, fine, that's what America is all about - freedom of choice even if your choices are wrong. But don't expect everyone else to make concessions so you can enjoy the independence without taking the responsibility. I am a smoker. I do not smoke around those who find it offensive. I do not leave my butts around for everyone to step on. I know smoking is a bad choice, but I'm not going to shove my bad choice down everyone else's throats. Here's an idea: Have the insurance companies pay 100% of stomach stapling - 1 time only. Some people's self image might improve so greatly, they'll be more driven to stay healthy and skinny and in later years won't suffer from diabetes or heart disease, costing the insurance companies billions every year.

Why do you care if insurance companies save money?

Also, your resturaunt booth analogy makes no sense, do you often have total strangers sit next to you while you eat?

I'm trying to figure out what it is you are saying? Do you want people to mind their own business, or not?

This is a real good way of killing a childs self esteem. When I was growing up kids were overdosing on diet pills and puking after they ate or not eating at all, because they didn't like how they looked. But now they just sit and tell the kids they are too fat and it is because your mommy and daddy abused you.

Child abuse - is both parents smoking in a car with the windows closed. Child abuse is parents who sit in the smoking section of a restaurant with an infant. Child abuse is bringing a kid into a smoky bar. Child abuse is those same parents forcing that child to live in that house while they toke away.
BTW, they just identified a defective gene that they say is responsible for the obesity in some really large kids.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Cancer

You may not be privy to every little thing that's going on around you, but so what? Crabs can't always be in control, but you don't need to feel insecure, either. Thanks to your electronic devices, you appear to be a little godlike to those who don't have the same access as you do at the moment. Just make sure that you memorise the important stuff in case the system goes down.
