Despite myths, most ex-cons still eligible to vote

It would be interesting to know how many ex-cons are registered to vote. I'm sure politics are the last thing on most of their minds. In fact they might even be as educated most voters.....Back to CNN now

My name is Joseph M. Andreoli/ my wife is frances scimeca, and I use her computer.
I wanted to express my opinion regarding PA prison issues, and the fact they are so very overcrowded and even with 4 new prisons almost finished and ready to go on line, the system will still be over capacity. The heart of the problem with PA prison system is the sentencing scheme employed with it's mandantory min. sentences..indifinite sentences, and furthermore the courts denial to be involved with p.b.p.p. abuse's.(denial of paroles)

I'm an an ex-con from Philly, also a viet nam vet. I hate republicans and encourage everyone who did time to vote and vote against those coward republicans who only run their mouths but won't fight for theirr country and want to lock up all working people and when elected represent only the super rich and corporations. Sure the republicans don't want ex con's to have the vote..simply cause they know we will bury them.

Rules, rules, rules. Why have them - no one follows them anyway. Ex-cons didn't follow the law the first time that is how they became "ex-cons" so why should they follow the law over this matter. I bet 'ex-con' doesn't follow other rules/laws like not possessing a firearms, etc.

Joseph Michael Andreoli...you have never been in Vietnam and have spent your life from age 14 in various correctional institutions and even now are back inside of one. You are a con artist -not legally married to your stepmother whom you call your wife (a much older with money lady who takes care of you) you do not respect laws, rules, authority figures and mostly you write letters to unsuspecting females from prison and lying to them that your wife is in fact your lesbian sister. Ms. Sciemeca is just as sick as you are and claims "as long as he is in prison he can't actually be with these women so I don't care"...albeit the correction officers at Frackville would love your opinions...a man who fails to tell the women he misleads that he has Hep C (the least of it) and who spends 2 years out of prison every 17 years)...you go on facebook and claim you went to Trinity College...but then again, you are a convicted felon and pathological in lying and yet you dare to comment on voting. Your sister claims you molested her as a child and so did your own sons...you are an insignificant criminal who cannot comment on any issues since you have a sociopathic persona. STOP LYING FOR GOD'S SAKE. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP.

Joseph Andreoli is exactly as you described him, Kate! As soon as he gets out of prison he starts doing and dealing drugs and gets thrown right back in!! His "wife" is not his wife at all, but whoever she is, she does NOT have money. They live in a run down trailer park in Leesburg, FL He dropped out of school and never got his GED, so he surely never attended any college! I think maybe he was in the military, but if so, he did not get an honorable discharge! He's never done anything honorable in his life!! I wonder how Kate knows so much about this horrible man? Did he scam you too, Kate? He did me! For four years! I've never hated anyone the way I hate him!

Hi Dixie--- You are so right also....he is in a prison again, in Florida, called Swaunee and I know that even after years...this man is having other inmates use their envelopes to write to me. I have tried everything -even moving-however, you and I both know that he is sick (HIV and HEP C) and yeh, I know about the trailor and got the lowdown from Frackville corrections....He even did an extra year for contacting me and went to the hole when I called the prison to report him. His sister Janice told me that one day she was home alone and she was a sick lady and that Fran Scimeca came over with Joey and while Fran tried to get her from watching Joey...Joey took all her prescription drugs....Yeh, I saw the mug shots and funny thing is "why is he not violated and back in Pa."....I agree with all you said and yesterday, I sill got another letter. I even sent them to the old lady who is his step mother. Go figure...they are sick people. Sorry u AND I got scammed it seems. Sick family all around...the sisters are scared of him and I also loved the new mug beat up shots!!! He sent me an engagement ring (for real) called everyday and yet I never sent him money...had a feelin about that. Anyway, he is twisted and when he got out of Frackville in 2008, I prayed to God that he would end up back inside for all the years I wasted on him. God sees all but waits Dixie and now this predator is back inside. He gets out...calls and harrasses me...threatens me...I have him on tape and the Florida Parole Board just ignores it all. And this has to do with the topic at hand how? I have known several 'ex cons' that served time for minor drug offenses and have finished their parole and have been productive citizens. If they have paid their 'debt' then they should be allowed to vote just like any other citizen.

While some inmates are totally rehabilitated and re-enter society with respect due them and for who they are and not for what they have done...this is NOT THE NORM.....So, unless you are in criminal justice then please keep your uninformed, uneducated, unrealistic comments to yourself. What a convicted person does and what a lawabiding citizen does has no difference you say! Yet, be every mindful that most normal people to not make the decision to cross the line and can control their actions with a moral certainty and foundation and this is
what defines the difference. To warn the public of knowledge of a felons misleading statements on a forum is adjacent to advising neighbors of a sex offender in the area. My statements and Dixies are an attempt to warn any other women who have had experiences like ours and if exposing Joseph Andreoli the lifelong inmate to others then we are merely addressing this forum that he is not on here being genuous.

I forgot to mention that, from your response to the "sheik", I see you aren't angry about the Andreoli situation! NOT!! Ha! It's been years and I am still furious! However, I did get a little "pay back" in the last time he was in Mahanoy. I pretended I wanted to smuggle drugs into the prison, and asked him to give me a very detailed outline of how I would go about it. The idiot actually believed I'd risk anything for him, much less my life in prison! So he did exactly that. I then sent it back to Mahanoy and he got 6 mos in the hole! Go me! Still, it's not nearly enough! Ha! "Hell knows no fury like a woman's scorn" is so true!
