Why the secrecy? Just to spend more tax dollars on a press conference so KT can get pats on the back! I'm glad the Eagles stole her thunder,(so to speak)!

All one had to do was look on The Eagle's website and see the date is already on their schedule.
Good job to the city for keeping this a secret! And really.. Who cares and why keep it a secret?? The tickets will be well over $100 not counting a service charge that will be astronomical. Won't see me in a seat there.

What's with the superflush? Is this really a ritual that we want tied to this place? Who thought this up? What's the significance of toilets?

I was thinking the same thing. Are there 350 toilets?

It's the best way to test the toilets & plumbing for what is expected to be huge crowds. Remember, everyone one runs to the toilet at the same time, half time, intermission. Would certainly be an embarrassment for the toilets to back up on opening night during intermission. Welcome to Tulsa, Don Henley, oh, by the way, would you mind not flushing the toilet in the dressing room? Just use the port-a-john outside on the sidewalk until we get the plumbing fixed! ;-)

Wow, the 18 to 34 demographic has spoken. I'm 40 and I've never seen the Eagles live. I told two co-workers (ages 48 and 50) and they want tickets, too. I guess rock really is dead and the youngsters today only want rap and hip-hop. I suppose we'll see if Henley and crew can sell it out.

Let's just get the announcement over with now since everyone knows its the Eagles. I am still surprised that it is the Eagles. A reunion tour, why? Don't get me wrong, I like the Eagles. I am questioning because I don't think it will be a sell out like some other names. But as I said before, as a stagehand, I don't care who it is as long as they have lots of lights, sound, pyro, props, etc. If I can work the WWE, I can work any show. As far as this being a secret, what do you expect with Kathy Taylor? Just get the parking and streets straighten out and the BOK can be a success.

Who cares? I will never go see anyone or anything at the DuctTape Center. I loathe Mayor Lobeck and the big money people that really run this town. The priorities of this city for the past 20 years or so have negelected....... I'm finally moving out of Tulsa County! Good bye to high taxes, high crime, poor roads, sub-par education, the good ol' boy network (Lorton's, Schustermans, Kaiser's, Warrens, etc..) and lack of quality jobs and opportunity..........

I would love to be there. The Eagles are legend my young friends. You should go just to get a feel for the rock and roll your mother's grew up with. Nothing like a little Eagles to sooth the soul.

ROCK AND ROLL MY FRIENDS!!

Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Joe Walsh and even some Jackson Brown would be nice too.

I'm in my mid 20's and I will definitely be going if the tickets are not over $100. I love the Eagles and it's nice to have a chance at seeing them live.

Why couldn't they get someone like Coldplay to open the center? If they are booking concerts like the Eagles, they will lose money.

I'm with ya on all but the "Stones", I could barely stand Mick when he was young. Now that he's a walking wrinkle with lips, that strut is just disturbing! ;-) Really! Kids, go see what real rockers do, you'll come away with a new appreciation for music!
