I agree, why else would they not release the documents?

the best way to defend the children is for all to be truly informed and justice to be served...DHS does NOT do justice by the children now...what are you afraid of having to turn over evidence

For some reason the DHS offices in OKC seem to think that they do not have to answer to anybody. Just ask Mrs. Krina Hendricks whose daycare they tried to shut down recently. When she filed an appeal Dist. Judge Darrel Sheppard issued a stay order. They tried to shut her down anyway. They told Mrs. Hendricks that the judges order meant nothing they could do whatever they wanted. they returned with a deputy. The judge himself had to call her home and tell the DHS case workers and the deputy to leave her home imediately. At he appeal hearing Judge Sheppard reverses the decision of the admistrative law judge's ruling. The attorney for the DHS asked Judge Sheppard to make make it record that the DHS does feel that he has juridiction. He agreed to make that statement record and assured the attorney that he does have jurisdiction. And then told the DHS attorney to 'go back to OK City and tell them to hire someone with some commen sense'. I know this to all be true for I was at both hearings.

I find this attitude deploring and disgusting!!!!

Let the games begin. Sadly, in all this game playing the kids are again 'lost in the system.' in all senses of the word.

I think if we disband the "DHS SYSTEM" and started over we would be no further behind then they are now. Just think we could build it around what is best for the children. Is it best to put them back it a "drug" home time after time just because it is their Mom or Dad. NO we must keep the children safe. There ar millions of people that would adopt and give good homes to this children if they weren't being kept in the system for years because DHS doesn't have it together. Just ask a caseworker or more like an X caseworker. How bad the SYSTEM is. I had one tell me it wasn't the Department of Human Services but the Department of Human Suffering she had been employed by the department for over 20 years and was just waiting for her time to be up. That everytime she and coworkers offered ideas they were shut down.... Hummmm makes you wonder. I hope this law suit makes some real changes.

DHS not wanting to do something because it would be too much work? No way, they are all fine motivated people. Just ask them.

I believe that politics is raring its ugly head again. I truly believe that most DHS employees really want to do good but the higher ups are the ones that are preventing them from doing so. Do we hear cover up?

So easy to blame DHS. They are low paied workers. i would fight giving up files that would cost tax pays 2 million bucks also. is DHS perfect, NO, but the blame is with the state. You get what you pay for, and most DHS workers are just above minimum wage workers. They are overloaded and underpaid.
dont do that

we all know the pay is not much and the case workers have laws to follow, but the case workers use mighty poor judgement n a lot of cases.you are right, you do get what you pay for.payless money and get less itellagent people.so if the state payed a decent wage they just might people with enough sense to d the job right.
