Person Of Interest Named In Headstone Case

Come on Jeremy turn yourself in and take responsibility what you might have done. If you are innocent why not just turn yourself in for questioning.

I didn't do it. I was someone else.

A person who would dishonor the dead by stealing their headstone and then be stupid enough try to kill someone with it isn't smart enough to find this board and leave a post......They would have no respect for the living or the dead.

It is amazing to me that these young people have nothing better to do with their time, they have no idea the hurt and pain that they have caused, and also the loss to this family of wages, incurred medical expenses, traveling expenses and so many other things. My father was a truck driver and I would have been devasted if this would have happened to him.
The Highway Patrol should spare no expense tracking down and agressively prosecuting everyone and anyone involved in this tragedy.
Since they have ruined this man's life they should pay dearly for what they have done, juveniles or not.

the investagators from mayes county are working with ohp on this one

They will probly catch them, IF they were teenagers they get to the point where loose lips sinks ships, then if you dangle some reward money under their noses sometimes that is all they need. It will be just a matter of time.

The way news flies in Mayes County, I am sure someone will open there mouth and the entire town will know. OHP will catch on this pretty damn quick.

Sheriff Cantey has done an Excellent job! Much better than any previous Sheriff.

Thank goodness they are getting leads in this case. This poor man was just trying to earn a living driving down the road with a load. He deserves justice.

Turn yourself in Jeremy. You can run but you cannot hide. Do the right thing.

The kid's just a dumb hillbilly and you know he'll be caught before too long..the longer he hides out, the worse it will be for him.

Any updates on Gerald's condition? I'm still praying for him.

I know for a fact that Jeremy McGirt has already talked to police on more than one occasion....the last time he talked to police was yesterday. Why does this article read as if Jeremy is on the run and if you see him call?

Jeremy has turned himself in. He has talked with police and is not on the run.

I hope they are all charged with attempted murder.
