We are surprised that the 'superdelegates' voting for the people-the popular vote- are voting against the people-popular vote-in support of Obama. Being a Christian and living in the Bible-belt I maynot agree with capital hill on every issue, but we are appalled that we voted for many of you to be in office to represent us. We are also appalled that the leader of our state, Govenor Henry will stand on the Bible for his beliefs when they cater to the Hill, but not the people or his own agenda. We are in a sad state of affairs my friends. Vote wisely!

Dullards. Like sheep to a slaugheter.

80% of white "democrats" will NEVER vote for a Black man. Sorry; truth hurts.

I am no "democrat".

Don't pretend to understand how it all works, but it does seem like the superdelegates should be more inclined to vote the way the popular vote went. It's almost as if they're saying "We know better than you (the people) what is good for you, so I'm going to use my super intelligence and vote the way I want no matter what the majority want."
Of course our votes will matter when these same superdelegates want our votes to be re-elected, then it'll be "get out and vote because, gosh gee, your vote counts so much."

It's pretty suprising to me that our super delegates have gone against the primary results in thier support of Obama however I'm glad they did I personally support Obama. Who caught John Edward's speach in Michigan last night? Thoughts?

Why, our congressmen and congresswomen do not vote for our best interest or we would have drilled in Alaska ten years ago. The oil prices today are because they let the price be regulated on futures prices instead of actual prices, and the farce of using bio fuels to conserve fuel, but only to drive up food cost. Their stock portfolios all include oil and gas company certificates. They win one term and they collect the same pay for life. They don't vote their hearts they vote their wallet.

I am a Republican. But I am disturbed that a superdelegate is voting his own mind and not that of the popular vote. What I am saying is if you voted in the democratic election your vote did not count!!

Hmmm. I've spent the last few years fearing that Hillary might get elected, and now I find myself supporting her as the lesser of two evils. I consider myself a bi-partisian Republican; I feel that Gov. Henry is doing a better job than his predessor... But Obama? Please. He scares me. Obviously, I'm voting for McCain. But if we must have a Democrat in office, better a left-wing female American than a radical left-wing un-American.

It is truly sad that you have been made to feel that you need to apologize for simply stating the truth, as YOU see it.

Soooo, after all who is intolerant?

From what I've seen, it's mostly the people who scream FOR tolerance.

Why?

Simply because they (the "toleranse folks who scream "racist" at the drop of a hat)don't like your (or whomever's) point of view; period.

Obama is ahead in the popular vote totals, even if you count Fl and MI.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/...

Fl and MI, along with all state parties, agreed to the rules when Terry McCauliffe was chairman of the DNC. They broke the rules. Their delegates will be seated, but without the power to change the outcome determined by states that played fair.

His refusal to wear an American flag, not saying the Pledge of Allegence, not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem...
Rice is intellegent, cunning and experienced; just what we need in office right now.

Oh, and thanks Legal, for reminding me that I don't have to declare myself "non-racist".

There is nothing "democratic" about the Democrat Party. They've mirrored the internal politic of the old Soviet Communist Party since the 70s, when they were taken over by druggies and radicals. This is why Obama's platform includes clean needles and decriminalization of drugs.
