Lawsuit Against DHS Could Lead To Reform

I have a DHS horror story. I right in the middle of it. The agency needs reform. Iwould love to tell my story to someone. My rights and my childs rights are be violated. Much stress and emotional abuse has been put on my family for no resaon. Yes they do. Oklahoma has accepted substandard programs for way too long.
I know there are some caring workers at DHS, but the system is broken, the pay is low, and it's almost impossible to keep the good ones. Even if they stay they are fighting constantly for what is right.

its about some one fights the system i had 5 childern taken over alot of bs 4 of them are apoted one is still in a group home and its been 4 years the tore him away from everything he knew and loved and he has adhd and bipolar but yet they said they did it for his best intrest how is that in best intrest he cant even talk to his brother and sister dhs need to go after the people who are beating their and killing kids. not just because someone does not have what they thing is the perfect income if the kids have food clothes a roof over their head and love what right do they have to judge u and take ur kids. the people that are suing u rock i just wish i would had the courage to have tried to do something 4 yrs ago cause now one of babies is sitting in a group home thinking no body loves him and wishing he was never born so please fight for all of us and remember we appericate it thank u

My Story: i hope you can help me my kids have been in state for 20 months . the only
reason thay got taken away was becouse i dident have a safe living situation but my moms
home passed on my petition stated that i was living in chelsa at my old app but i dident
live there i was liveing with my mom and at the time my 2 older kids.june 19th of 2006 the
dhs was looking for me so im an onst person and went to the dhs to see why and that when
thay asked if thay could come and see my moms house and we said yes when we all got to the
house thay came in side and we talked thay asked if anyone ells lived ther and my mom said
myboyfriend at the time there married now and she said my younest son come over and see me
thats when thay got on the phone and asked if it was ok for him to bearound and thay told
me as long as i dont leave them in the same room with him by is salf thay could stay i
said ok then thay left and come back with a cop and took my babies from me and i had a
showcouse the next day.the judge post dident want to hear my side and keep the kids in
coustity then i got pragnent with my 3ed and was almost done with my trement plan i was in
parenting classes nurthing the last thing but my ged i had the baby and thay took her
right out of the hospital. saying she was diprived thay held my ether case aginst meat her
court hiring thay said if i had unsuppervised visits i could take her home and thay 10 min
later myether case was up and i got unsupervised visits and still dont get my kids do to
somthing i diden even know about my son had a burn on his foot and my visits got taken
away when i got them back in sep.07 1 hr at the oct in tulsa my babys foster parents
woulent bring the baby to see me and at my next hearing the judge said no more visits at
otc becouse thay dident think my case should have been opened and now im back at the dhs
office for 1hr a week and from what im hearing at my next court hearing this month on the
26 at 330pm on the 3ed floor thay want to try and termate my wrights the foster parent
want my son not my oldest and then my babys foster mom want her and now im not just
fighting the stat im fighting the foster parents im a 20year old mother that has 3
wonderful kids and im not going to give up my kids are my number one in my life and i just
want to be a happy family again my kids where healthy and bruse free when thay got taken
every one told my how good of a job i was doing and thay cant beleave my kids are in state
so if there is anyone that will help me im bagging you to please please help get my kids
back for me i dont know what ells i have to prov to the dhs and the judge that i want my
kids back

I know that there are important things that you are trying to say, but no one can understand anything that you are saying. Perhaps you should hire the Haslam Law Firm. Due to my case no Rogers County judge may hear any cases involving Don Haslam. Rogers County DHS got whipped good by him. Plus, Don is drafting the Petition for the Rogers County Grand Jury. Per my affidavit, all major players in JD cases in Rogers County are named as co-conspirators in enabling child abuse. Should put most of these officials out of system permantly.

I just laerned that a father went into Rogers County this month, his divorce was granted and he was awarded custody of his children! seems Rogers County is already changing how they do business.

I also recieved a letter from the Okalhoma Bar Association yesterday. The members of the Rogers County District Attorney's office now have until Feb 28 to respond to my grievance letter. wea re seeking the disbarment of each prosecutor involved in our case.

Enter judge, or commissioner in the text and report your own opinion as to the misuse of funds paid by the people for these corrupt courts. People are now listening to what is happening.. jobs are dropping in the lows, mortgage companies are closing doors, people are losing their homes, children are being taken from good parents or/and given to the abusive parent or the system for profit. I went to court the other day and was very surprised that Judge Post acknowledge me and even asked me to the hearing. I am the biological mother of two beautiful boys. I did an open adoption with my mother and step-father in april of 2007. That is the worst mistake I ever made. However, at the time i was under the impression that if I did not sign the open adoption I would never see my kids again. January 29th the boys were removed from my parents home and put in state custody. I am fighting to see them. In the court order I was order visitation every Wednesday from 4-8pm. I am denied that now because of thier actions. I am the one that turned them in. I did it out of love for my angels. My youngest brother tried to sufficate the youngest child that is now 5 years old. The oldest child is now in a hospital in OKC for sexually acting out in 3 diffrent foster homes in 3 days. What have they done. My angels have never been apart and were never hurt when they were with me. The open adoption was a civil suit i have never personal had the children removed from my home. i want them back. I draw disability and i can not afford an attorney i am trying everything I can and exusting every resorce. Any tips or ideas will be helpful.

Unfortunately, in Rogers County you need a canoe and a paddle, and its all up stream. Judge Post can smile nicely, but is as corupt as can be. She permitted an actively psychotic, mentally incompent mother of five to stipulate to a petition that was in itself written partially in error. Oh, well. Since she stipulated and can not appeal now, she has no standing for custody ever. Thus my children are safe.

I know how you all feel. My children were ripped away from me after my x-husband's family accused my now x-boyfriend of beating my youngest child. HE DID NOT. They were taken from me, the only stable home they've had and were put with my x-husband's mother, who is an alcoholic. I have tried contacting the DHS to find out how I can get my children back and they have blown me off and ignored me. They will listen to the side of the family that has NEVER been there for my children but refuse to listen to those that have been with them from day one. Stephens County DHS is a prime example of what is wrong with this system. My x-husband was found to have molested my oldest son, yet he and his family have my children. He is not supposed to be around unsupervised yet here he is letting my boys sleep in bed with HIM!!!!! I am being treated VERY unfairly in this matte an would appreciate any advice or help.

It has always amazed me that you can be treated like a criminal, have people accuse you of all kinds of horrible things & take away your children when you have done nothing wrong or even close to illegal. But DHS is willing to jump thru hoops to do everything they can for someone who abuses their children to the point that one of the children has mental retardation from frequent severe beatings and another was taught at an early age how to obtain money by performing oral sex on men (he learned this prior to age 4). How scary is it that? Wow, they're really looking out for the children, aren't they?
