Curious though the original idea of the boston tea party was the obsurdity of being taxed by an entity that was not OF HERE.

Having a candidate from OUTSIDE would be rather IRONIC wouldn' it.

How VERY rePUBICan, lower taxes so we can buy more bombs, guns, tanks and ships.

the economy NEEDS war. according to Repubicans.

That district will be up for election again in one year - the Repubs totally screwed up that candidate selection, but don't bet on it for 2010, as there will be an opportunity for a primary.

When the Dem is more conservative than the Repub, that tells you the RINO insiders picked a loser candidate.

Interesting, you tossing about tired, low-class vulgar name-calling- and YOU, calling ANYONE,'moron'-?

also Interesting,'Obama Rules'-'Rules'. Hmm.
That's sort of placing the President in an- oh, rather,'Monarchy'-like position, oddly enough-? Now,I believe that your American History will recall that the original Boston 'tea party', was- oh, nevermind.
I shouldn't expect you to grasp any irony here.

Anyhow- A new low here, Dispatch- giving a sexual slur a 'headline'- Way to legitimize the ignorance.
The lowest common denominator just found an ugly new depth.

I think if you find yourself humorous here, you probably should put the computer down and get back to 'home room'.

If the teabaggers paid the same amount of taxes that dems did, who would pay the bills. If someone were looking for employment, they would not be going to an ACORN rally to find any business owners to speak with. people used to have a little pride, now, so many vote for a handout, dems rule. If you like Detroit, keep voting democrat, they have equality there, equally all living in third world squalor.

who would you want in your community, the taxpaying "teabaggers" that believe in personal responsibility or democrat welfare sucking parasites. Even the parasites would rather live among the teabaggers, they know how their bread is buttered. In fact, if dems were all so smart, why do they need our money, they would be the ones actually paying taxes instead of the ones trying to take the money of others. Look at busing, were the teabaggers trying to bus their kids into the areas of the parasites, not quite.

There is no debate here people. Obama and his far left fringe freaks have hijacked the democratic party and are driving all sane people at least into the middle, if not further right. America was not built on spread the wealth socialism, but on hard work. Take that away, and we have nothing left.

Yes, well, that would explain why the teabagger candidate got his butt kicked in a district that hadnt gone R since the 1800s.

They found a seat that all a republican had to do was to just show up in order to win. Then they managed to loose it.

I will take the two gov positions over the rep loss, scuzzy was for card check and stimulus and obamacare. Whats interesting in VA is these candidates faced off four years ago in a statewide campaign and it was a narrow victory, now it's an 18 point drubbing. Repubs had no candidate in the 23rd, scuzzy dropped out. it will go back in 2010. You have already posted you are a progressive, do you think i am bothered by your childish name calling. What have progressives given Ohio, busing, that was a good one.

Wrong- AMerica was built on Capitalists and Rich taking advantage of cheap labor and slaves to build up a strong economy, massive Industrial comlex and workforce, etc
But now they take it overseas, where it's cheaper and laxer laws on exploitation... BAAAAAAAAA

You leave out the actual story, Bob. There was a right wing candidate in NY who ran as a Conservative and had the vigorous support of Palin, right wing media, and the whole nutbag crew. He was given tons of cash. He ran in a district Rs had never lost. He lost.

Actually NY as a state has been very tolerant of outsiders running, going clear back to Bobby Kennedy.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
