how the hell do you get out of DRI without ramming a phone down DRI staff's throat and do you end up with nothing???????

Help! I am trying to research these rip off artists. We are out 15K by DRI.

We recently purchased points in the Sunterra/Diamond Resorts timeshare SCAM!! We were told we would only pay maintenance fees and they would not increase.

Upon banking points for the following year I was told by Sunterra membership club I could not bank points unless the membership and operational fee were paid. I was completely shocked to learn there were additional fees when I was told by Todd Roesen (our salesperson) the maintenance fee would be the only fee. When signing the closing papers, this question came up again regarding "other fees". I looked Todd in the eyes and ask him, "what other fees?" He said , "they just put that in there for formality, the only fee is the maintenance fee". So I signed.

I have since suspended payments, however would like to recover the money I paid to date and cease the relationshp with this unscrupulous company.

Anyone have any ideas?
