How bitterly ironic that an oleagenous liar like Obama should traipse across America spreading his sterile dung to disturb our comity and industriousness.

Obama can pretend all he wants to fix the gas problem by visiting oil fields, but if gas is $4., $4.50 a gallon in October he is one, and done.

he's going to ground zero to refute the lies spread by his opponents. Domestic production is up. Eat it.

No one believes a word out of Obama's mouth. He has done nothing but lie, and create a fantasy world for nearly 4 years. His lies are about to catch up with him, and he does not have time to fix anything. We partied hardy when the Hillbilly Wh*re Hopper left Washington, but that is nothing compared to the parties we are planning for January 20, 2013. We have been planning for Obama's trip back to Chicago since gas topped out at $3.75.

"A statistical analysis of 36 years of monthly, inflation-adjusted gasoline prices and U.S. domestic oil production by The Associated Press shows no statistical correlation between how much oil comes out of U.S. wells and the price at the pump." You are simply full of $hit -- read a bit and get the facts rather than spewing your misinformation and right-wing hatred. "When you put the inflation-adjusted price of gas on the same chart as U.S. oil production since 1976, the numbers sometimes go in the same direction, sometimes in opposite directions. If drilling for more oil meant lower prices, the lines on the chart would consistently go in opposite directions. A basic statistical measure of correlation found no link between the two, and outside statistical experts confirmed those calculations."

You can make all the silly claims you want, but if the American voter thinks the President can reduce the price of gas, and President Bush did, they wil vote President Obama out, and send him packing, on his way back to Chicago

Except President Obama has no credibility with the vast numbers of Americans, because he lies. They know he says one thing, and does the exact opposite. His statements are especially unreliable during an election year.

Once again the closet teabaggers are trying to blame the President for their own "short" comings. Gas is high because speculators(rich republkons) are once again padding their wallets. End of story. Get over it. If you want a real issue, look at controlling speculation and rip off practices that continue to make America dependent on Arab oil. Time for real alternative energy. But republicons are still in awe of Big Oil and Drill, baby, Drill.

deal with it U.S. A Net Gasoline Exporter For First Time In Decades by Tom Gjelten The U.S. has become a net exporter of gasoline for the first time in fifty years. Thanks to rising production at refineries and declining demand, the United States exported more gasoline than it imported in December. The unusual development reflects the segmented U.S. energy market — the East Coast needs to import gas while the Midwest produces a surplus http://www.npr.org/2012/03/05/147992053/u-s-a...

Yet it was during the last few months of Bush's term in 2008 that gas prices hit their highest:$4.27 when adjusted for inflation. Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/2012/03/21/3504160/...
