Why Bill Richardson's Obama Endorsement Backfired - Demagogue Style

The Obama campaign in a series of missteps believed they had completely mesmerized the American Electorate with eloquent and heart throbbing speeches, proved again politics is a very complicated leap of faith ...

Bill Richardson and John Edwards are both waiting to be asked by the final Democratic nominee to be their VP candidate. Guess what: Neither will be.

I could have told you long before that Bill Richardson would endorse Obama ~ it wasn't a surprise to me. In fact, I wrote Hillary to let her know he was no friend of hers. It did backfire on him because most hispanics are at least smart enough to know that Senator Clinton has what takes to be the next President of the United States. In fact, let's face it, "If America really wants change then they will put a woman in office! It's been well over 200 years and I think it's time for 'real change' and we're going to see that happen in Denver in August 2008!

Now - the question is 'who will OBAMA put on his short list for VP'? How about a guy called: Mark Warner, former Governor of Virginia? He's there! He's running for a Senate position but he'll take VP. Personally, with the Democrats now fighting as much as they are ~ I personally would like to see Mark Warner throw his "HAT BACK" in the ring and take it all at this point. I still can't understand why he jumped out initially only to turn around and now run for the Senate position in Virginia. He should run as an independent - surprisingly - it's my opinion - he would win! We have race and gender this year and it's just not going to work because each candidate is too head strong to relinquish this potential "power" to the other. Still if it's between Barak Obama or Hillary Clinton ~ I say, vote for a woman - "Men have had 200 years to get it right ~ it's time a woman has chance" and Senator Clinton has is the "right man" for the job.

Sorry, America is not voting in a woman or a black man. Its just not going to happen. I know you probably think most people think like you do, but they do not.

So start coming up with your McCain bashing slogans and nicknames now. You got 4 years worth of them to figure out.

And who are you Bonnie? The local "shove Billary down your throat" spokes person. I hope people who think the way you do will wise up before November. We can't afford to have that woman for president.

I don't intend to bash anyone quite frankly. What purpose does it serve? Everyone thought Romney was going to be in the race until the end too ~ don't underestimate the power of the American people. They're fed up and all our politicians in office need to worry about "secure" jobs. I just submitted an editorial to the Denver Post titled: The "CARDS" People Play. The Race Card; The Gender and other cards ~ unfortunately not everyone is playing with that full deck.

The way the current race is going you may be absolutely right that John McCain will win. Barak Obama's ego and Hillary Clinton's "fabrications" will push all the "centrist" Democrats over to John McCain.

Somewhere over the rainbow I believe in miracles and what this race needs is a man with Mark Warner's integrity, wisdom, leadership experience and the ability to really unite America. It's his destiny to "pick up that gauntlet" and take the challenge. It's time he consider jumping back in ~ but as an "INDEPENDENT" now.

Back to Governor Richardson ~ he's just another politician who is worrying about positioning himself for VP. The fact that he didn't immediately come out and support Senator Obama tells alot about his character. He's just another politician.

Bonnie - time to get out of the house and get some fresh air. You've obviously been stewing in your own gas for much too long.

The air here in Denver is wonderful and the view marvelous. Better yet, come August, Denver will be known as the City for "Real Change". One way or another, we will see a woman President or a black man take office. I prefer it to be Senator Clinton - she has the experience we need. If anyone will be stewing - it will be the Republicans come November! I wonder if you'll be riding the same horse as President Bush back to Texas. Ah...that explains it - You're from Maryland. Bill Richardson was never a true friend of the Clintons. I liked the fact the James Carvelle called him "Judas" - He is!

No - I'm not from Maryland.
No - I'm not a Republican.
Yes - you need to leave the house and get out into that Denver air, thin as it must be - judging by your (lack of) intellect.

Im expecting to see riots in the streets of Denver after the Democratic National Convention picks Hillary. And Richardson will not be in any cabinet post in the near future.

YIKES!!!! You folks have been spending way too much time listening to "Rush, the lush". Yes, pain pills count.

In Denver, we only have idiot riots after Super Bowl wins. If there is a riot at the conclusion of the Democratic convention; then; let the police earn their money. Isn't this the semi-democratic process?

Wrong - she didn't get the nomination - she got the popular vote. Don't underestimate the power of the American people's vote. I'm writing Senator Clinton in on my ticket in November 2008 and I would challenge the 18M supporters to do the same, despite her request to unite around Senator Obama. I won't support a racist.

Bill Richardson's own state voted for Hillary and as a superdelegate, he chose to ignore his own state! Interesting...the latinos are resilient and they know who really cares about them!

She knows how to spell "experience" - it's called "leadership" - something Senator Obama lacks. What he does have in common with President Bush is his "arrogance" and so never underestimate the power of the american people -- they have been sick of 8 years of "arrogance".

The "Popular Vote" should have accounted for far more than it did, but that's the way the Dem's operate...
What's funny though is that Obama will never get the votes of many Hillary supporters...They swore an oath that if he was the candidate, they'd vote for McCain...One of the largest groups is the League of Women Voters, and they have more clout than Obama realizes...Sucks to be him...

I'd much rather see the American people (women) write-in Senator Clinton's name on their ticket come November 2008 - than to vote for Senator McCain. The Republicans would like for us to do that - vote for him. He may be strong on our security and that's needed, but Senator Clinton has Senator McCain on the economy and leadership. Senator Obama is arrogant and we have already had 7 years of arrogance in the White House. Senator Obama is not humble in any stretch of the imagination and you are absolutely correct - Obama underestimates the power of the women's vote! 18M is small number of those who voted in the Primary - Senator Clinton may be surprised but another "Women's movement" is very much on the rise in this country and in our movement we have "EVERYONE" represented and we may very well - choose to "WRITE HER IN".
