I live in Omaha.. I'm not narrow minded,'scary', a finger pointer, racist, nor am I unfriendly. I do not fish, hunt, or drink. You talk about raving and such, but you don't drink, smoke, or maybe take drugs? You're being narrow minded.. if you really want to meet some backwoods people take a trip to small town Iowa. Be thankful you don't live there. There's better cities out there by far, but come on.. it's not THAT horrible.

Omaha is a dangerous, unfriendly city. I feel this this way and I live in the upscale part of the town. I am from a small town in North Dakota. I have never met so many unfriendly people in my entire life until I moved here. I moved here not knowing what is would be like. I expected it to be like the rest of the midwest friendly. Boy was I wrong. People here tend to come across as self absorbed and in their own "big city" fog. It makes me ill to see violence everyday on the morning news. This city is a pile of garbage that needs to be cleaned up!

I believe they some may be sorry for it. However I would advise keeping away from Omaha it is scary and the people are mostly uncaring. Small town living is what makes life ok.
