Once you are leased, as long as there is an active well...

We have mineral rights in ND, but don't live in the area, so don't really know the going lease amounts. We are just getting lease papers on township 151N, range 102, sec 20. Would anyone out there have any ideas what would be a good lease figure for that area?
Thanks

Cartwright could be between
R104 W and R103 W and TWNS 150 N and 151 N. You really need to know the section, too. If you inherited the property, it should be in the will.

Thank you that will get me started anyway. Well I did inherit this but its a long story. Property belonged to my great grandfather. So part of it went to my grandmother then to my dad and now to me and two brothers. Well things got a bit lost in traslation between my brothers and me so now just try and do things on my own.

That must be the going rate as we just signed a lease for exactly that. It was in twns 151 range 102. We even tried to get more and all they would do was go from 1/6 to 3/16 on the royalty.

We have minerals leased to sundance oil and gas. There was a well drilled on the section next to it from another oil company. Wondering if sndanmce will drill or if they even drll. The well next door looks like a barn burnner, any body with some news, three years left on lease.

A neighbor has some property in McKenzie County:
152N, 100W and has been offered $300/ac and 1/6 royalty. What is the going rate? Should they ask for 3/16?
Thanks

We were offered $150 3 years and had to ask for 3/16 and got it. Some of us didn't get our leases in right away and now they have been offer $200. So maybe 300 is pretty good, but I would try for 3/16.
