Obama needs support of Jewish voters

By Robert Watson President Harry Truman had a "Jewish problem." During the critical months prior to the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, the Jewish community did not consider Truman to be an ally.

I hope the Sentinel follows up on this by investigating and commenting on Obama's vote on those Israel-related votes that Robert Watson alludes to.

Here is the website from Obama's "church".

Read pages 10 and 11 to get an idea of their beliefs regarding Israel, Palestine, and Hamas!!!

No wonder a Hamas spokesperson recently said publicly that they hope Obama gets into the White House!!!

http://www.tucc.org/upload/tuccbulletin_july2...

Also, if you go to this thread that I started---you will be able to read many articles about Obama's connections to Muslim terrorist groups in Africa (Obama's family members)!!!

Consider this statement by Professor Watson:

"Jews, much like African Americans, are among the most loyal voting blocs for Democrats, and Jewish voters turn out in robust numbers."

However, what Professor Watson doesn't communicate is that blacks constitute around 16-17 % of the total US population, while Jews, arguably are 2-3%. So how can that be so important? Well, here's one reason.

"Democrats can't win the White House without Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York, states with sizeable Jewish populations. Two other states with large Jewish populations — Florida and Pennsylvania — are the largest two swing states in November."

So, some key states with electoral vote clout have large Jewish populations. Even so, with at most 3% of the entire population - remember those Democrat cries for eliminating the electoral college after the 2000 Presidential election?- how can a group that tends to vote in a "block" have so much electoral power with 3% or less of the total population?

Professor Watson provides the answer. He wrote about Truman:

"Surrounded by a circle of close Jewish friends and advisors, and both politically and morally committed to establishing a homeland for the Jewish people, Truman played a key role in Israel's creation."

Since then, the plain fact stated above has not changed, or if it has, the influence of the pro-Israel forces in our government has actually increased. For example, read a quick bio of Daniel Pipes, and his influential friends.

Haaretz, the more liberal of Israel's two major newspapers, noted early last year that AIPAC, the powerful Israeli lobby group in the US - American Israel Public Affairs Committee - had, in reality, become the American Likud Party Public Affairs Committee.

The Likud Party had been the dominant political party in Israel for the past 30 years or so. Likud was the party of Sharon when he became PM in 2000, and is the party of Netanhayu. Olmert is former Likud, as is most of Kadima. Note - Yitzhak Rabin, at least in his second term as PM, when Oslo was negotitated, was Labor Party.

The Likud Party is categorically opposed to an independent Palestinian State in Gaza and the West Bank because they believe such an agreement by the Israeli government would directly violate God's law.

http://www.knesset.gov.il/elections/knesset15...

So while it may be "absurd" to think Obama or Clinton or McCain may influenced by anti-Semitic people or groups in the US, it is not at all absurd to think any of them may be heavily influenced by powerful people in our government who have the view that there should never be an independent Palestinian State.

Professor Watson, the Sun Sentinel, and the major media in the United States would serve all Americans better by being more direct in information such as I have presented here.

Are you capable of constructing a meaningful sentence in the English language. Your efforts up till now would indicate a resounding "no". So why so you even try to post here?
