Have you ever checked out that site (opensecrets.org )? In a word....WOW!! I mean all of this information is right there for the world to see. Who gave whom what, and when they did it. It helps clear up a lot of political confusion when you see where all of the money is coming from.

One thing that it made very clear to me is that the right and left are just alike. All that either side really cares about is controling all of the cash.

Toyota is here ONLY because the Big 3 built junk for 20 years. Now, facing competition, they try to patch things up and make better quality. But is it too late? Have they screwed the American People for so long that they have lost all faith and trust in Detroit and will not be lured back? My answer: most will never go back to be screwed again. Well at last check they had recalled 1.3 million since the new year. I believe they had another recall last week. That would put them way up there. One thing about recalls-the more vehicles one builds, the more recalls there are simply due to the numbers. That’s something the talking heads failed to report on when GM, Ford, and Chrysler were pumping out vehicles at fierce rate and Japanese makers were plopping out a few at a time.

Like I said, I'm no fan of Toyota, but your incessant unwarranted and unsubstantiated put downs of Toyota are clearly the symptoms of an anti Toyota agenda.

The dirty little secret about Toyota not having recalls is they sneak around dangerous problems with their vehicles by giving warranty extensions rather than recalling the vehicle and fixing it.
My boss has a Toyota Sienna and received a letter from Toyota stating that the trans axles could disintegrate at higher speeds. Instead of recalling the vehicle they gave him a one year/10,000 mile warranty extension.
How many other times with other problems have they done this?
A car company that really cars about it's customers and hides thier quality problems.

While I respect your opinion, that's really all it is, an opinion. Doesn't make it right or wrong, but it certainly isn't factual.
That said, the same allegation could be made of all automakers.

Wrong – Toyota leads in recalls. That is a fact. You don’t believe it? Look it up yourself. I am not here to supply you with information. If you have a quam about something then get off your do good pity pot and bring in some facts, otherwise shut up. Did GM lead a few years ago? Yes-
