Michigan Gas Prices At Another All-Time High: $3.84 A Gallon

Let me see, we have GM on strike, we are not getting any new plants to come in here and the younger people are leaving the state to work elsewhere. Do you think the people in Lansing would wake up to that fact. Removing the state tax on gas is not the answer, the answer is to become self reliant on our energy needs, if some one is willing to pay $120 for a barrel of oil, what kind of business would sell it for $60?

We built up China and India and showed them the good things but their demand for oil is driving the price, speculators too. We need to look right here for answers and need to shut the oil companies off, along with the lobby in Washington and all the rest of the people who want something for nothing.

We've got a lot of problems here in Michigan and the price of gas is just one of them. Time to hold the people in charge feet to the fire and get things done or get out. We don't need more BS from Lansing we need action.
