If these black churches oppose the state's definition of civil marriage, they can express their opposition by stop officiating civil marriages and only doing the particular religious rite of marriage, which is their right.

During Prop 8, propenents fooled many in the black community into thinking Obama supported it. They're very good at timing their misinformation so that it can't be challenged before people vote. So it would behoove Obama to get out in front and make his position on these referenda clear.

I can't believe you people say that, and then have the juevos to talk about the "sanctity" of marriage. Send your sister or daughter over for me to marry. I'm sure she would LOVE to marry a man that is not attracted to her. I'm sure our marriage would demonstrate the "ideal" of two people forced together who have no interest in one another.

You are saying gay people have the right to act as if they are straight and deny the reality they are gay. Straight people have no such requirement. This is not equality.

Additionally, gay people can marry a same sex partner in several states and countries. Those legal marriages are denied equal treatment to the legal marriages of straight people in those same states by the federal government, and not recognized by other states while straight marriages are. This different treatment under the law is an undeniable example of legal discrimination.

Animals cannot demonstrate informed consent, even if they can meet the age requirements. Comparing the love and emotional bonding of two humans to a human and an animal is irrational as well as insulting. It is simply absurd.

And while the bible is not the source of law in our country and can be used to justify just about anything including slavery, segregation, and even genocide, many scholars believe it does not condemn adult loving same sex relationships. It has been mistranslated and misinterpreted to accommodate the prejudices of the translators. Jesus never condemned same sex love, and had plenty of opportunity had he felt it was important. Your prejudice is irrational, scientifically unsupportable, biblically questionable, and contradictory to the message of Jesus.

What ever the reason you have for posting this crap the only thing you did is show how uneducated you are. There are a couple of real good responses to this post of yours by others, I suggest you sit quietly and read them several times maybe you can learn something.
