That makes 3 legislatures (Maryland, Washington, New Jersey) to pass marriage equality bills in just one month! Though they may not all become law, it's still a historic achievement.

I actually agree. There are only equal rights.

Civil marriage equality.
Employment equality.
Housing equality.
True religious equality, not just the preferred religions.

When Mr_Bill was a lad, couples who wanted to marry in a hurry went to Maryland.

Now, it is a marriage destination again.

To my engaged, gay friends: If you've not been to MD, visit Harve De Grace, Annapolis, Ocean City, Baltimore, & Easton....all nice to visit, and friendly.

There's a chance. They have until Jan 2014 when the current legislative session expires to get the 3 Senate & 9 House votes needed to override the veto. Since there is no state level elections in NJ until Nov 2013, the players will all be the same, so it's probably a long shot.

And you think the earth is under 10000 years old.

Your denial and disapproval notwithstanding, sexually disordered closet case, about all of the industrialized West and now about 15% of the US States have marriage equality.

It is merely a fact, Cletus, despite your fervent wishes to the contrary.
