So what this poll is saying is if Obama has his way and is able to silence the competition and media outlets that disagree with him then in the 2012 election he will win. No one will be able to campaign against him because he is trying to silence opposing views.

Of course no one knows who Pawlenty is! No one is campaigning yet! Thanks for the worthless poll.

What a stupid poll. If the President doesn't have a lead over an unannounced candidate, who has done no national campaigning, ever, three years ahead of an election, he should resign in shame.

Any propoganda to make Obama look better. Like the huge headlines every time new unemployment number drop 1%(10,000-20,000) when the number is still over 500,000 every week. Start reporting the truth and Obama's approval rating would be about 30% at best.

Well if Obama is trying to silence Fox News, he's not doing a very good job of it.

"Done no national campaigning?" You can't be serious. That's all he has done for the past year.

I liked the AP headline

WASHINGTON - Sales of new homes dropped unexpectedly last month as the effects of a temporary tax credit for first-time owners started to wane.

Uh - wait a second, how can you be surprised that the sales are falling off when you confirm the free-bee is ending? Bad news spun to sound good?

Not only that, he barely gets 50% of the vote against an unknown, undeclared candidate. What does THAT tell you?

And, with that, suddenly the Republicans change their minds and decide that they, in fact, LOVE these poll results!

Why are the Democrats already running for office in 2012? Are they that afraid of losing? They are already running ads in my state for 2010. It's that brain washing the lemmings to vote Democrat.

It's a way to dig up dirt on a potential candidate and get him out of the way. Same old liberal Chicago dirty politics.

It tells me that an incompetent Governor who was elected and relected only by small pluralities (meaning most people voted against him) just isn't the hot political ticket one might assume.

It tells me that the democratic party in Minnesota nominated an incompetent democratic candidate for Governor in 2006. Mike Hatch who was not elected in the 2006 Minnesota Governors race, and lost only by small pluralities (meaning most people voted against him). Mike Hatch just wasn't the hot political ticket one might assume. You see your biased argument can be used against you because you assume all of the independent voters in the 2006 race would have voted for Mike Hatch, if there was not an independent candidate.

Is Mike Hatch running for President? If not, I don't see how what you've said relates to anything at all.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Scorpio

Don't let yourself be caught up in a crowd mentality. Just because someone else makes a major production out of what should be a simple matter, doesn't necessarily mean that it has to affect you adversely. You might be able to bring down the volume with a tap on the shoulder and a meaningful look. Even though it might not seem like it, your cool head is definitely appreciated at times like this.
