You act as though you are talking to him. Do you really think he reads stuff like this forum? People like him are too busy for the rediculous nature of this forum for annoymous slander. Maybe you should try doing something instead of judging others actions.

your a moron really describes you best. you always come up with the lines about how you worked your way through college and made your living by working. do you think you're the only one to do that? there is no automatic character flaw that makes people be like you. just because someone has made their own way through life, they don't have to be stingy and hateful to others that aren't as lucky. when you grow up you will learn, if you have a good position in life, it will benefit you to help others get to that position too, it doesn't help to constantly try to beat them down. the more people that are well off, the better it is for everyone. quit being so self centered and obnoxious because you made your way, so did a lot of others including me. a little success doesn't make everyone be an a$$hole like you.

Youre a moron wrote: It's nice to see that when I make a logical argument that you respond to nothing less than a an illogical rambling statement. Once again, why would you expect a represenative of a district to go against the majority of his constituency? As for Cumberland County, I'm afraid that anything less than David passing out "free" checks in town will not be sufficent enough for people of your type. People like you will never change, you will ramain looking for the free ride and will always feel bitter toward anyone who appears to be more successful than you. You will always look for the fault and never the good. Although when you do find good, it'll never be enough for you unless you obtain a personal benefit from it. I remember the days when people wanted to work, would work, were thankful for the jobs they had, and would feel what was almost a moral embarrassment from accepting government assistance. Unfortunatly we are encountering times where the embarrassment has faded away and given in what is almost a feeling of entitlement. You tell them Mr Williams Stand your ground!

If you think his staff or even the great Oz himself doesn't know what is said about him I would just bet you are wrong. He may be to arrogant for it to have an effect on him, but he is aware how people talk. The thing that I see is when you have someone of his power living in the county, other people should be so jealous of all the things that are going on here, jobs, industry, opportunity, instead they are more then likely saying David Williams comes from one of the poorest counties in the state of KY. It does not appear that he fights to bring anything here, there is road work going on all over the state, new justice centers in other counties, the docks at DH are now privately owned and just give seasonal jobs to a few. He is absolutely nothing for Cumberland County to brag about.

DAVID, MAKE US ALL PROUD and get it to where you have to be drug tested in order to receive your food stamps and welfare check. Has any one of you checked the welfare rate in Cumberland County? It's not that there isn't any jobs, it's that the welfare chose to sit on their couch and eat steaks, then drive around in their Tahoe, something to be proud of isn't it?

Youre a moron wrote: I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time grasping what you people would like David to do. His job is to be the represenative of the people of the 16th district. I have a pretty good feeling that if you were to poll the constituency you'd find that the majority would be opposed to gambling in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Why would David forsake the majority to apease the minority? Isn't that the opposite of why we elect people? I absolutely disagree with you that the majority would be opposed to gambling. Don't be calling us morons. How smart is it to let other states make revenue of the citizens of this state. Have you ever been to the boat? Don't underestimate the number of Kentuckians gambling there if you do. Do you buy a lottery ticket, raffle ticket? Just seeing what point of reference you have here. If it is a moral issue with you that's one thing. But we have huge state budget deficits, our once proud horse racing industry is going south and we get to sit back and watch Indiana and Ohio coffers fill with money from expanded gambling. Call us morons, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Don't kid yourself either. Trimming the budget and other cuts isn't going to balance anything. You are going to have to raise more taxes. I don't want to hear the moral majority whining when they do.

Any more on this or is it just going to go away? If Williams was so offended looks like he would be pushing harder for that retraction. Or is this a case of the truth hurts.

Both of them are a$$es! Crooked policians in this state think they are doing great when the funnel money to their districts when the entire time the people paying the taxes to fund that waste are living in poverty. Screw all of them! Wouldn't mind it one bit if the river in Frankfort washed all of them away so we could start over. Private practice lawyers tied to politics are even worse. I'm sick and tired of double dipping, crooked, lying, corrupt politicians on the local, state and federal levels. Quit stealing my paycheck! We need to stop the thought process of 'if we didn't use the money someone else would have'....here's a good idea, leave the money in my PAYCHECK you pack of thieves!!!
