Receiving welfare was meant at one time to be an assistant for a month or so til you could get a job, now it is nothing more than a career.
I worked at an indigent medical ctn. where many welfare moms and addicts on disability would come for free treatment and RX, they not only would boast about they did not work, they were not going to work. They wore expensive jewelry, they drove better cars,(NOT ALL but MOST). As one lady stated, my boyfriend (baby's daddy)bought this car because he makes a good salary where he works. So this is a double offense, dead beat dad not paying for his child and the mother taking advantage of it.
There is 722,000 in KY alone on Medicaid. There is over 300,000 in Ky alone on welfare benefits.
This is alot of people in one state who cannot find a job (or will not).
Shucks, I held one full time job and 2 part time with 2 children, no welfare, no child support. If I can do it, so can the others.
