I am not a single mom, but know of many single moms out there who are struggling. I admire these single moms. I thank God I have a good working husband. Cause I don't know how they do it. Getting to the point of welfare, I believe it is neccessary when they can't get their ex's to pay alimony and their own christian churches turn them away. Women are also one of the lowest paid for jobs. It sure ain't a just world out there. Here is to all you single moms out there on welfare and not. May God keep you and bless you all. Thank you. The biggest welfare recipients are corporations.I keep hearing we need this immigration amnesty to fill jobs folks here won't do. This is the first time I heard this crap about there is no charges for welfare fraud. So why should I work to Jobs to support my kids. Well If she only got probation and don't have to pay back. Then I should do like my friends does. She lives on Section Eight with her husband. She claims a single mother can not work because of three kids my hubby left me. He paid her child support so she can get welfare. She has been doing this for 22 years. She has always been married because they are a Puerto Rican Couple that got married and Puerto Rico and It does not show here. Well to my friend I say keep ripping the system. Why not. She only drives a beat up jetta and her kids eat steack and shrimp all the time. Oh I forgot she has a gambeling problem at the Catholic church every week. She works, She gets care for kids, she is on section eight, she always has her hair, nail and designer stuff and My F _ _ _ _ _ _ Taxes when at the end of the year comes paid for her foodstamps. She wonders why I get mad at her all the time.

Well I should get me a job under the table and let someone else feed my kids...HAHAHAHAH!

Keep blamming men for your inresponsabilities. I have one child that is owed 12,000 in child support and another that is owed 4,000. That did not stop me from achiving the American dream. I own a house, car is paid for, kids have everything and the Irs even gave me back 1,210 for my coach purse. Wow! that was a well spend reward. Also My kids have college funds accounts.

As a Puerto Rican that was born in Puerto Rico not a want to be I represent the Latina Women That works Get's ahead with Honor and dignitty.

Ally,You are ignorant just because you are married when you have children does not mean that you wont end up on welfare.Sometimes the husband leaves and the woman is left to take care of her children on her own. The majority of welfare recipients are single mothers and they are not on welfare by choice. They are on it becasue they cannot get help from deadbeat dads.In Indiana the most welfare that you can recieve is 288 a month who would choose to live off that.

I know someone who has been defrauding the gov for some time. She lives with her boyfriend but tells the state she is a poor single mom supporting her 2 children. When in fact her parents have been raising her children for years. She collects welfare benefits based on her 3 family household which doesn't really exist. She also has given the local child support office the same info. So she gets checks from the childs father for Ah did I mention NOT raising her children. And of course last but not least she also lies to the irs and claims head of her 3 person household which does not exist so she gets huge rebate checks. I wonder who pays for all that?

Welfare Fraud is Fraud! this is a crime people. no excuse, and all of these people need to be in jail. My sister n law does this crap and sits on her thrown judging everyone else but doesn't feel any shame for what she is doing? there are 800 report welfare fraud hotlines you know! And I made great use of it!if you know someone doing this crap report them! Your tax dollars are going to feed them while your busting your butte at a job!!!!!!!!!!

These are the disparities I saw in the justice system, when I worked for them for 8 years. Sorry to play the race card but the race card is always dealt!! Sentencing have a lot to do with your race, money and power!!
