who cares? move the Circle City Classic out of Indy - we don't need another Black Expo - we should learn to share these "cultural" events with other cities. i for one am sick of kids running crazy in the downtown streets all night and making noise, littering and acting like they own our city. this event creates more bad than good.

I care. They make good music and im sorry you only like Banjo music.
Jim go back to your trailer. I dont hear you complaining about the many white expo events like the 500 and the Brickyard. Have you seen the litter, noise and drunks that invade "our" city when the races are here...you didnt mention that in your post.
How do you know what good or bad cultural events bring to the city? I didnt see you there. By the way, how is the GED coming?

I could not DISAGREE with you more. The Circle City Classic is a great event & I take my family to the parade every year. It's an awesome parade & a great event for Indianapolis.

JOY and PAIN....SUNSHINE and RAIN...Frankie Beverly said it best...as for your comment...let's get rid of the Indy 500 or the Brickyard, or let's not tear down a historic Drive in theatre for some racing crap...Those are "cultural" events as well...they are just for the hillbillys! HEEEE HAWWWW!

The difference between the events is that the "race fans" can run around naked (I've seen the ladies do this) the men can run around drinking beer, they can stay out at all hours of the night, and yet the police turn the other cheek.

Now, not pulling the "race" card or anything...but hey...if the shoe fits...

Parade yes. Bet you won't be at Georgia and Illinois St. 20 minuetes after the game. Nuthouse city. Thousands of folks thinking cops helping traffic and street lights mean nothing, running in the streets, gun shots inside the mall parking garage. That's the real classic. Take your kiddies to that!

The white trash events don't force steak and shake to change the way you order and pay. Expo and classic "visitors" need to pay when they order. Why? Steak and Shake was losing $$$$ in dine and dash cash from the fine folks "visiting" Indy on those two weekends. White trash that!

The cops turn the other cheek at races because the drunks aren't shooting guns at each other like at expo/classic. 15-yr-old girl shooting a gun this year at expo and her momma says it's the popo's fault. It all starts at the begining.

You people turn everything into race and color, can't stand living in a city with black people then maybe you should begin to think about moving to a small town where the population ratio with whites and blacks are 10,000:1

Hill Billy Jim Bob you are a racist mf.. Grow up and accept people for who they are.. When the Indy 500 comes to town I want to be there.. As your mom stated you needed to focus on more important things like your education.. Get your GED and have a great life... Quit tripping!

Maybe if u would take that hood off your head and look around you would realize that u dont even own "our" city the mexicans have you out numbered, try again (how does it feel to be the minority) open your eyes man if the IMPD harassed the 500, brick yard, broad ripple and whatever your klan is doing then maybe for once some of the dirty laundry of these "cultural" (LOL) evnts can be aired. P.S. how much do the expo and classic bring to "our" city.
