Feminists sharply divided between Clinton, Obama

No constituency is more eager to see a woman win the presidency than America's feminists, yet -- despite Hillary Rodham Clinton 's historic candidacy -- the women's movement finds itself wrenchingly divided ...

In my opinion, for whatever, it's worth, I believe Hillary should quickly stage "Hillary Across America." By that, I mean, she should have her supporters in each state or wherever, hold outside rallies to show their support of her.
That just might open Obama's eyes to making her vice-president which would eventually put her in line to be president.

Funny how my comment keeps disappearing.

For all of you out there you need to be aware that paid Obama supporters are the ones voicing opposing opionions against Clinton on this Topix.
Obama supporters have been saying that West Virginia and Kentucky votes don't matter because these states are just poor white folks.
And to those in Michigan and Florida..
Will you let others steal your votes?
Delegates DO NOT elect the President..
the people do..
We the people..
Better watch this..

And again..Obama..
there remains 6 contests left..
AND Michigan AND Florida WILL HAVE THEIR SAY..

Don't count your chickens just yet..

That's good to hear.
Both sides are equal when it comes to feminist issues. Feminists should decide between Hillary or Obama based on their views on different issuse, and not by their gender.

Of course they don't..
they're so worried that Hillary is going to make it..which she will..
that they've greased the floors and are now trying to slip and slide into the White House without the rest of the country ever having the chance to vote..
Too bad for Obama..
I mean..
it wasn't named the White House for nothing..

Apparently, we are not yet "at a time and place" beyond gender or race. Until there are more women involved in our political process, and until a woman can run for president (and actually get elected) without being subjected to rampant sexism we will not be able to get beyond it. To say that this issue no longer exists implies that feminism itself no longer need exist. If we are so far advanced, why have we not yet had a woman president? If we have indeed come so far, why can't a great candidate like Hillary Clinton get elected?

Why can every non-white male group in America have their own "special interest group" but if a white male had their own "offical group" the PC liberals would be pointing fingers at us calling us "bias" and "racist".

I sure don't, and would appreciate it if the black meat would leave me alone. I'm not interested. Please take your insecurity somewhere else.

Because she's not a great candidate. She's as corrupt as George W. Bush.

She got it wrong on Iraq. Her being a woman doesn't excuse her from criticism.

Of course delegates dont elect presidents.

They elect the nominee.

And they're people too.
