What is going on in Idaho? Jealousy?

I have been told that Idahoans are tolerant people but think that might depend who is moving next doo.

I thought Idahoians were descendants of those who's wagons fell apart on the trail to Oregon..? After a 2 year hiatus in New Plymouth, my ancestors finally made it 'over here.' I've been more concerned as of late by the pockets of 'white supremacists' in Idaho, is it safe for a progressive type? And with all the crazy's from Western Montana, there must be some of them staggering over your boarder. And, how's the illegal immigration problem over there? Here in Oregon it's getting worse by the day...

Well, well well! Hey Post Falls Bob and Mike. I know I said I was done with this, got better things to do, like become a respected resident of Idaho. I thought I'd take a peak from packing. Looks like Dan turned the tables. No beating here Bob, but a good oberservation on your behalf. It's happening here in my home town too. What kind of crazy's from Western Montana Neal?

The kind that can't get along with civilized society, and barely with each other. I watched an "Independent Lens" program that dealt with some of those crazy's a good year ago, really opened my eyes to the type that feel they've the rights to do anything with public lands... There was an online forum that I can't seem to locate, but these people were scary! And when I say people, I should specify guys; I don't thank any of them could 'keep' a wife for long. They didn't seem linked to the Aryan Nations boys who seem to have made Idaho their base, but were sure willing to shoot anything that moved - anything! There was an unsolved murder / accident of a woman who dared to speak up against them; another woman, with two teenage daughters, had been threatened with their lives and had begun teaching her girls to fire a handgun. Stuff like that.

Here in Oregon we have our crazy's too, but since the "Rajneeshe's" bogged out of Eastern Oregon, and the leader of a white supremacist group got his pants sued off, there hasn't been a concentration anywhere - that I'm aware of.

So, 10 percent Latino's..? That's the battle heating up around here; I'm on the side of US Citizens, and agree with a protest sign I seen on Saturday: No Boarders - No Country. Problem is, everyone protesting these illegal aliens are instantly labeled 'Racists.' And as much as that angers me, I've wondered what will / has happen(ed) when they meet the real thing?

Thanks, I knew some of it, but something told you had more info. When you find that forum post it up. This issue with illegals is huge. I hope our Gov. and local Officers abide by the law and enforce it. It is written! And we are not racists! Your right that is a problem in itself.

Abalone yum! I have not had it in years. How did you cook it? Dan is the guy that posted here first. I'm surprised Denise has not posted. Hope she is well. We had chile Colorado over white rice and zuchini.
