It's interesting to see Michael Friedrichs being accused of first degree murder. Unfortunately, I know his family and they also have issues with anger and choosing to use violence to solve problems. The residents of the town where he is originally from, Sauk Centre, MN, aren't surprised to hear this news either. Let's hope the whole family has learned that turning to violence is not the answer and definitely NOT acceptable. My prayers to the victim and his family.

Before you judge you should get the whole story before you start pointing fingers. You don't know the family if this is your accusation. My prayers are also with the victims family. Before you start pointing fingers and making accusations you should really get the whole story.

I also grew up knowing the family. We don't know the whole story yet. It's too bad for all involved. I know he has had temper issues, but I can't honestly believe in my heart that he would beat a man to death.

What a small town thing to say. Don't blame the Friedrichs family for this, they have a lot to deal with already and they don't need people like you spitting off their mouth and making these ridiculous comments. Why don't you live your life and stop judging people and their families. I'm not saying what Mike did was right, but it is not right to blame and bring the rest of his family into this. SHAME ON YOU!

First off, let me say that my heart goes out to the victims family. There is absolutely no excuse for what happened. Whatever Mike did or didn't do he will have to accept the consequences that come with it. However for SC MN to make a ludacris comment about knowing the family and claiming they also have violence issues is irresponsible and inconsiderate. Why do you feel the need to drag someone's family into this when you obviously don't know them? "Unfortunately I know the family" Are you kidding me? Everyone in a small town is suprised to hear the news that so and so got a speeding ticket, much less a murder charge. You make Mike and the family out to be this ticking time bomb. Have you ever been to their house and seen what a warm loving environment it is. Has Mike had is issues, yes, but everyone has skeletons in their closet. All we can do is pray for the victims family, and those of us who are acutally close to Mike can pray for him and his family. As for you I suggest you grow up, get out of your bubble, and realize that no matter how hard you want to think that because you live in Sauk that makes you an expert on everyone else's lives that live there, it doesn't. I suggest you worry about yourself and what's inportant in your life and quit trying to make yourself feel better over the trials and tribulations of others.

Pretty sure SC, MN that wrote about the fredrichs family is a stupid loser. What are you afraid your small little town might get a bad rap because a "murderer" is from there? So typical blame the family....right. When actually this is a situation where a man did come from a good family and home that is always so welcoming and caring. How dare you...you probably are someone that is a huge loser and was never cool and now is your chance to point and laugh. Grow up.

Just because Mike has anger issues and is a piece of work doesn't mean his family isn't nice. Sure his Dad was the same way when he was younger but the Mom is really nice.

I could care less if Sauk Centre got a bad rep for having a murderer. That has no relevance to what I wrote prior. To anyone who has a bad thing to say to me, that is great. It's a wonderful thing we all live in the United States and have freedom of speech, expression, and choice. Also, this is a public forum for people to post opinions and comments. I am not trying to add to the families hurt. I am just exercising my right to the First Amendment. I choose not to tell you my name as you are "family". I am concealing this information, not because I am a coward or ashamed of what I have said, but only to protect myself and my family. And let's just leave it alone at that.

I agree with not blaming the family for their sons actions. They should not be reflected against because of what he chose to do. But I will say this, I hope he realizes what he did was wrong and horrible. In the eyes of the law he has commited murder and along with that comes severe consequences.

Question, who threw the first punch?

Right now the families of the victim and the families of those that stand accused need our support. Critical, bashing comments directed at any related individuals will serve no positive purpose. We have the best legal system in the world to sort out and determine what really happened. The shock and trauma involving this terrible tragedy does not need to be added to by someone pursuing their own private agenda. Let's wait for enforcement and the legal system to do its job before passing judgment.

I would like to let you know to stay out of other peoples lives. You have no right to sit on a computer and talk crap about Mike or his family. Your daughter is a FRIEDRICHS, so there for you are saying bad things about her. I hope that one day when she is looking on the internet, she finds the things you are saying about her GOOD uncle and will never forgive you. Why don't you go back to the bar and not pick up your phone when you Amy calls, and then when she calls your friends you can tell everyone at the bar again how she is a prego bitch right now. I think that you have a real problem that you are talking crab about all these people, your daughters uncle, your wife, who else Jason? Every one knows that Jason and his wife are pieces of shit so I wouldn't even get excited over that. The whole Weisser family is full of pieces of shit. No secret there. Why do you think they all suck at business.

this is the comment i was referring to on. Despite what some may say, just because you would not call someone a friend I hope that everyone who responds to this has enough compassion and basic human respect to let the families involved have their privacy. Please refrain from hurtful comments. No matter what belief you have, finding happiness or judgement in someone elses problems is not right. I would like to take it upon myself to apologize for all who don't agree with this statement.

Its weird that a misunderstanding can bring THIS out. Me, my wife, and my family try hard to be good people and I don't believe we deserve things like that said. I was just trying to make it known that it was not me or my wife or family who were posting those mean comments. Like I said I was referring to the comment about treating people with kindness and respect. To those who have bad things to say to me or my family- I feel sorry for you.

I wrote those last 2 comments to those who might misunderstand. I would appreciate if you left my daughter out of this. If you have something bad to say about me but please don't attack us using her. I hope this will be the last thing I will have type, for this matter does not pertain to me. I was just trying to show some empathy and kindness to the families involved.
