I think onlylime and citric acid have been approved by the state but there are other things they can use.
You ever go to the other forum anymore?
I was wondering if the caffeine remedy was any good. I thought it might make the frogs hyper. I check in on this forum once in a while. You can get a little tired of the rants and negativity sometimes. Good to reconnect with friends though.

Yea, and their chirps go "KOKOKOKOKEEEEEKEEEKEEOOO KKEEE".

:)

No, really, I spread used coffee grounds around the foundation of my house to keep them from chirping from the eaves through the windows. It does work.

For medium-scale efforts in the yard I use lime, a large plastic cup, and a blower.

Likewise. It's been nice running into you.

I jsut found out the insect being released on the waiawi is one of its natural controls in Brazil.

I think a lot of folks want to err on the side of caution when it comes to introducing any non-native species, even if it were to deal with non-native invasive plants. "See" you around the forums.

Some interesting potential ties worth looking into:

***Vitamin C and the bird flu:
http://www.orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/...

***Guava's (P. cattleiyanum and guajava) vit c content:

***Proposed legislation to make vit c available only by prescription here is the US (and in 10% of the dosage we can currently purchase):
