I see nothing wrong with this, but I also think that one of the honorees should be Viola Liuzzo, who was one of the first killed during the Civil Rights movement. Of course, being WHITE, I don't think she has much of a chance.

You are right about the schools in Atlanta, Indian lover. My children have been raised not to be color conscious-the same way I was raised. They were in an 87% black school. My oldest was being totally ignored in class at middle school. My youngest was being robbed of text books, snack money, etc., & harrassed every day & give a choice of "do what the gang said do or get beat out".I talked to the principals & counselors & was told my child was just a trouble maker. Fortunately, I am well able to homeschool my children, & this is what we now do. When we took my oldest son's withdrawal sheet to each classroom teacher to be signed, 5 out of the 7 black teachers he had said "good, you're leaving", "I'll be so happy to sign this so you can get out of my class", or some similar remarks. This was a straight A student. I hear "separate but equal" everywhere I go. But that is a joke--- they want to be the ONLY people. Too bad----the Hispanics are taking over Atlanta so fast it makes your head swim. I'm LOVING watching it happen. I'm only here temporarily, so whatever ultimately happens to Atlanta, they deserve it.

African Americans don't listen to the racists who run around trolling on your websites. They are making up dumb stories... or rather they are just liars. Where are they going to go. Hispanics are not taking anything from African Americans...they are looting America... and the more than 5,000 groups of Anti-immigrant groups that have popped up are at least 95% White. So, I don't think African Americans are afraid at all... We all should be up in arms about what is happening. Many of the jobs that not just Blacks, but the jobs of many Whites formerly held are being replaced.

I like the fact that more Americans are waking up to this fact; as many many former White majority enclaves in this country are being taken over by Hispanics and all of our wages, etc... are being lowered due to the influx.

I would say go and get some knowledge, but that would be wasting more words, like I have wasted my time.

I have never seen such a bunch of ignorant fools in my life. True many blacks do fit the sterotypes written above, as well as whites. I recently moved to Atlanta from NYC, the attitudes you all exhibit is simply ignorant. Your comments do not make it better for white or better for blacks. It simply hurts the morale of people, the end result is all people pay for a bad economy. Wether it is a Ni$$er, a H*nk*y, a Sp!c, a Jap, a Jew, we all pay taxes, and if we don't pay taxes we support the people who are raping us. If you feel the blacks are raping the system, then encourage them to get a job and be a part of society, the fact is Blacks, whites, jews, Japs, Hispanics there all a part of America and they are not going anywhere. Like you I have been reading some of the comments and it's not constructive complaints it's nasty! I feel sorry for the woman whose child was having a difficult time at shcool.
Here in Canada we have an anti bullying system. This seems to be having some effect in the school system, as the students doing the bullying are going to court, and being held responsible for their actions. They are making restitution for any damage and community service! Hopefully it will help them realize they have to become an asset to the system and not a detriment. We have enough of those already! That being said I have to say that I do not understand whats happening here in America. All I know is that I dont appreciate being skipped over for jobs that I am qualified to do because I have to put on my application that I am a WHITE applicant. I also do not appreciate the fact that I am going to have to learn to speak Spanish to get a job in AMERICA.(English speaking country) There are Indians here. There are Chinese and Japanese and African Americans. Why did they all learn English ? Whats up with that? And what are we going to do about it? NOthing?
Do I think that the AA should have special months? Or special plaques? Or special anything? NO NO NO . I dont think that whitey or any other "group" should just solely based on skin color. Skin color isnt a merit and it shouldnt be punished or praised. What is the deal America?
