The justice system includes a court room with a judge and jury. Taxpayers are now even made to provide you with a free lawyer. Try that instead of these scammers trying to fleece people. I always rely on a legal method instead of a crook to reconcile any legal problem I might have, maybe you should try it.

Sorry, just a short while back I would have agreed with you, but unfortunately, the legal system does not always work as we think it does--innocent people do end up in prison. As for that tax paid lawyer, unfortunately, they are not always working for their client. Don't believe it, then go and sit in a few court rooms. I believe the majority of law enforcement people, including DA's and etc., are honest people--but no, all are not.

I have spent many hours observing the justice process while serving on numerous juries in court rooms. I don't believe in court appointed lawyers either, I believe in paying for your own attorney, but some people blow their money on blow, booze, other worthless items, such as scammers, and must use them claiming they are destitute. I believe in the justice system more than I believe in people that advertise their business over Topix Forum.

True, there probably are people that could take better care of their money and afford their own lawyer, but then there are those that cannot. Unfortunately, some in our system do take advantage of those that cannot. Sometimes promotional opportunities outweight morals for those in control. I sat on many juries too, but it was not from sitting on juries that I developed the feelings that I now have. I am not a criminal myself or even come anywhere near being. It was what I observed of someone in great power and how they used that power that changed my thinking. I don't know about the company on here, but it does sound as though they are doing a good job. I don't need their services, but if I did I think I would give it a try. I do think our country has come too far in our ability to print what we do about people. It seems it has turned almost to harassment in some cases.

I would bet that the company itself is putting the mugshots up so that people will pay them to get them taken down.

It's predatory behavior on the part of greedy internet mongers and law enforcement to post a mug shot or arrest record of someone who is subsequently found innocent or charges dropped. In my case, it also shows a link to my freaking address! The court dismissed all charges because there was no cause for my arrest I was simply standing in line at a public event in front of this guy who I didn't even know but who apparently was holding a red bull can with alcohol in it. I was arrested because the person touched my shoulder to get my attention said something to me and the police thought I was this guy's date! I never saw this person before. I lived in a totally different town in another part of the state! All my charges were dismissed and the judge apologized for the police officer's behavior however the info is there online wrecking my reputation as I try to find a job and work to get into law school Someone should take these jerks to court on a class action suit or something!

Every mug shot and arrest information is also on MugMe.org however they are nice enough to give you the ability to remove the mug shot for a very small fee. I hate these sites but I was lucky enough to be able to remove mine.

I Cannot believe this! It has been over 6 yrs since I got a DUI. The only offense I've ever had in my entire life. I more than paid for this offense, with money, time, and my pride! I should not have to still endure having my mug shot up on the internet. I do believe that this is a violation of my civil liberties and am considering contacting the ACLU regarding this. I can understand posting sexual offenders or big time criminals, but too many one time minor offenders are being held hostage by the state of Florida and these ridiculously priced sites that claim they will remove all traces of the offense from the internet. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP NOW!

People! The truth is that the mug shot websites and those few "lawyers" mentioned above - is the same company. Their business model works like this - floridaarrest (and sites like that one) place your photos online, and the guy in the next room charges $$$ for removing the photos. Hate that!
The problem is that once information is public, it will be public always. Meaning, you pay those guys, they will remove your info from few websites, but after they collect your money there will be 10 more websites online who will place your photos again and demand more money !!!!!!!!!!

JoeJoe wrote: I am really trying to get my picture out of Florida.arrest.org it now on the first page of Googe. This is very humiliating and I really would like it removed. I tried to contact Google and it was a waste of time - has any one tried Remove Slander? The price is a little hi but it will get rid of this mug shot then I will pay it!!!!!! Please help There should be a removal option on the page that contains your mugshot. They will remove it for you for free if you were found not guilty or it has been sealed/expunged, etc. If you were found guilty they should remove it for you for around $10 -$20, you just have to e-mail them. Much less expensive than remove slander! Good luck.

The scam-industry premise is:“on-going-torture-by-extort ion” & is reprehensibly disgusting. Abysmal police/justice management of sensitive information. If pigs/justice are not taking kick-backs by allowing extortionists access to mug-shot information, they should be fired for their information mismanagement & being accessory to allowing criminal extortion. Innocence after arrest, paying a lawyer to “clear your name” now has no meaning. The idea of “innocent until proven guilty” has long been a joke of the US justice system. People awaiting trial can spend years in prison; Now allow those free on bail or declared innocent to suffer at the hands of public for being unfortunate enough to be introduced to a broken police arrest, booking process, and its information management. Now extortionists can make money by tormenting all involved in a police arrest information management process.
Extortionists (inclusive of *.arrests.org,*.mugshot.* & those in supposedly privileged positions to remove info at a cost are extortionist leaches and need to be imprisoned.
Getting arrest information off the internet is not a legal effort or a costly one. It REQUIRES the author to remove the information and ideally be prevented from getting it in the first place. It requires police/justice to take accountability for ensuring such information is restricted to “only those that need to know” within the justice & police systems. Any money made in allowing a ‘transparent legal process’ needs to be weighed against the cost of tormenting victims = EXTORTION.
Contact Robert Wiggen at Flagler Beach, FL, owner/author of *.arrests.org to teach him some respect.

Unfortunately sites like florida.arrests.org do not allow you to remove your mugshot or related arrest information. RemoveSearchResults.com has some good solutions for mugshot removal that are either free or very inexpensive.

I have a question this sounds silly but back in 2009 I got my full name copyrighted through the Pinellas County Ken Burks Clerks Office I even got it notorized, first, middle, and last name. Now I'm not going to get into why I got my name copyrighted, because that is another whole story, lol. My question is if my name was copyrighted back in 2009 and I got arrested in 2010 did any of these websites that posted my pic and info on their websites and weekly arrest newspapers violate my copyright?
