About six months ago, I found out that I had a mug shot that was on Google 1st page and I did not even know it until my wife seen it, and it was very embarrassing to my family, and my business profit went way down, so I had to find somebody to remove this. It did not matter what the cost was, because I realize my name is the most valuable thing that I have, so when I found out about this site
http://www.imagemaxpr.com/Remove-mug-shot-fro ..., and I call them and talked to the CEO of remove slander, and he told me that he was 98% sure he could remove this mug shot, I paid the fee right away, and within 48 hours it was gone. I can't thank these guys enough.. |

Whats happening in Florida is ridiculous with the counties allowing these website to profit off mug shots. Mugs shots have become a big money business so I would applaud anyone who has figured out to remove a mug shot. I don't know anything about Remove Slander.com but keeping fighting Google and the rest of these mug shot sites. Why should the public be on alert for someone who was arrested for missing traffic court? This is another example of the out of control Judicial Branch of our Government that allows law enforcement to torment the citizens of this country. Keep Fighting for the little guys keep fighting Google!

Unfortunately, lawyers, cops, judges, etc. are all in the game to make money for themselves, state and county. Good people who have never done anything wrong are being arrested, set up, etc., for nonsense. Lawyers don't even try to fight the cases. They settle it for a minimum sentence and a big fee, even though they know the charges were b.s. to begin with. Then you have to go through hell getting it off your record. It's a vicious cycle and I believe the American Civil Liberties Union needs to start looking into these cases.

I am with you 100% on this one, the mug shot thing is out of control. As much as I love money I would not want to make my money off the humiliation of another human beings. This is an abuse of public records and has not place in our society. The good news is sites like http://www.RemoveSlander.com and others like it have figured out a way to beat these guys at there own game. I am still waiting to see how it fairs out in my case but I signed up on yeaterday to have my mug shot removed.

Google knows they need to stop with this placing people mugshot on the web. they don't care if you guilty or innocent , they put your face up there, then you got to fight like hell to get it down. The real sad thing about this is that you won't know your mug shot is on Google until someone else tells you.

I am a 50 year old mother of 4, and i have never been arrested before until Dec of last year. I got arrested for having a half a joint in my car. And my mug shot ended up on the internet. And I found out while I was teaching my 11th grade students, talking about embarrassing. you don't want Goggle to find out you got lock up in FL.

The Google algorithm works the same no matter if the link is featuring pictures or negative content, whatever is the most relevant will appear at the top of the page. The reason the mug shot has landed in Google images is because the mug shot photo was named and tagged after you.
To sum this up please allow me to explain what really happened, and how these pictures all of a sudden appeared on the first page of your search results. Act 1 – You and your buddies where out on the town having a great time when you decided to stop at a gas station to purchase more beer. While standing in line your buddy gets into an argument with another customer and a fist fight breaks out. The clerk calls the police and they decide to take you and everyone involved to jail. Once you’re booked for disturbing the peace and public intoxication, you’re released on bond and given a court date. Act 2 – Before your court date even arrives you receive a phone call from you now hysterical buddy informing you that his mug shot taken during booking is now on the front page of Google as well as the local crime section of the newspaper. At this point you also search your name and there it is at the top of Google in a row of images, your mug shot. Not just one photo but a total of three including the side angle shots. As you mouse of over the photos you notice that the pictures have been posted by a mug shot website. Act 3 – You contact the police department and ask them to take the photos down because you have yet to go to court which means that you have never been convicted of the charges. To your dismay you discover that the police department could care less about this violation of your privacy and how the public images could affect the outcome of your pending trial. At this point the sheriff department informs you that your mug shots are consider public information and there is nothing that you can do about. They were wrong! The good news is there is something that you can do today that will offset the damages caused by mug shots featured on the first page of Google. Even though the photos were place there by a 3rd party website and not the sheriff department, they are not obligated to take the photos down. Everything I read about these guys was good, very cool video on thier site, so if I needed to I would use them. http://www.imagemaxpr.com/Florida-Arrest-Mug -... |

The reason we see so many mug shots is because mug shots are entertaining, pure and simple. The reason we see so mug mug shots is because it gives us some sick level of comfort to know someone else has it worst then we do. I am not saying it's right to post these mug shots, but I will say that it is entertaining.

Judged: 1 1 1 It WORK!!!!!!!!!! Sweet Jesus !!!!!!!!! It has only been one day since I signed up and the mug shot is gone!. Clint from South Carolina Thank You for replying to my post on this site, glad I took your advice. Sweet Jesus!!!!!!!!!! If you only knew how much pain the mug shot caused me, how many jobs opportunties I lost because it was right there, how many people passed judgement on me. The money I paid does not equal how happy I AM RIGHT NOW. Sweet Jesus!!!!!!!!!! www.RemoveSlander.com http://www.imagemaxpr.com/Florida-Arrest-Mug -... I would pay it again and again just to have the peace and joy I feel right now knowing that my arrest is now a thing of the past. I am glad to hear that your mug shot was taken down. I couldn't imagine having something that embarrassing sitting right at the top of Google whenever someone searches my name. Google is killing the internet! When Yahoo was king of the internet we never had the issues we have now with privacy and public humiliation via websites. I even read off an entire school that had to close because some sick individual launched a campaign of terror on the reputation of the school and everything he posted was a lie. I wish everyone was equipped with the information to remove a mugshot or negative website, this information should be made available for the general public for free. |

Let's consider my options with this mug shot hmmmmm None! It's either I pay to have it taken down or it will remain there forever! I agree, the problem here is Google and the reason they feel my mug shot is vital information for the general public. I was arrested for a traffic ticket, and the next thing you know my picture is on the first page of Google. I can't even get my business website on the first page of Google after paying some A-hole $3500. I asked Google to take the picture down and they laughed at me. I asked Florida arrest to take the mug shot down and they never replied back. So what are my options now hmmmmm.
