You know the saying " Hispanics who vote for REPUBLICAN Cubans DESERVE REPUBLICAN double standard Cubans".

Keep in mind Cubans have "wet/dry" policy which no other Hispanic or non hispanic group has.

So hypocrite is the correct word to describe Florida Rep. Carlos Lopez-Cantera who would not DARE touch the Cuban wet/dry policy.

As a whole in Florida NON Cuban democrat hispanics have a terrible state and local voting rate , if they even bother voting once every 4 yrs ,thus double standard seems not to bother them.

Poor example of ahuman being. The savages are you and your ancestors. they were the ones that got most of the people sick with your viruses.

Indigenous people were much more advanced morally, and many other ways than any other race. You make me puke LIEger.

"Dozens of Cuban-Americans accused of bilking the government for as much as $1 billion were identified in court records by a Miami Herald investigation. One group used 85 phony medical equipment companies to file $420 million in fraudulent Medicare claims. Thirty-six accused scam artists fled to avoid prosecution, absconding with $142 million."

On the issue of Cuban history I'd gladly take on Larry Kudlow and Arthur Laffer with "half my brain tied behind my back" (thanks Rush).

On the issue of economics, however, these expert economists would make picadillo out of me.
So on the issue of Puerto Rico's cost to the U.S. taxpayer I'll gladly defer to them:

"American taxpayers are subsidizing Puerto Ricans (who don't pay income taxes) to the tune of $22 billion a year"

"Every working American family contributes $400 a year to the upkeep of Puerto Rico as a U.S. Commonwealth."

But don't take it from this hopeless intransigent! Instead, read the blood-boiling details yourselves, in these expert economists' fact-filled book Pay to the Order of Puerto Rico

And for some reason, in election after election, Puerto Ricans have consistently rejected statehood.

BTW, I live in New Orleans and our family lost our home of 20 years and half our earthly possessions to Hurricane Katrina. We also evacuated in time and had paid our insurance premiums. So when conservative pundits and websites habitually bash New Orleanians collectively for "'sittin on their ass! Waitin for the Feds to bail 'em out! etc. etc. etc."--I don't take it personally. I don't regard myself as part of the group they're deriding.

Lol . No entiendo el problema que tienes con los Puertorriqueños pero con las miami Cubana culebras no tienes problema.

"Cuban-Americans have “perfected [corruption in government] in many ways to a fine art.” That is not correct, however, because if corruption is done that well, it is unnoticed and subtle. Corruption in Miami’s Cuban-American government has been crude, blatant and openly defiant"

"Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz doesn’t seem to be too concerned over the appearance of insider dealings when it comes to work done by U.S. Construction- an outfit that he joined three years ago as a director, after his previous employer was shut down on fraud charges and two of his bosses were sent off to prison."

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Sagittarius

You're in the mood to spend today, especially on the spur of the moment. Be careful if you can't afford to make any impulse purchases, because a lack of cash won't stop you! If you do decide to splash out on something, you may be disappointed when you get it home and you might even decide to take it back.
